Dungeons Galleon's Graveyard Rework + Cgg

    In 1.19, the Undergrowth Ruins dungeon was reworked and the corrupted version was added. I believe this will happen to Galleon's Graveyard in ether 1.21 or 1.22. This is a collection of ideas for what could be added there.

    Galleon's Graveyard
    Upon entry, room 1 would be very similar to how it currently is. The mobs that drop tokens are more abundant. I felt like maybe instead of having tokens here, the mobs could drop shark teeth that are used to break down a wooden wall into the first galleon, but i don't know if that would break consistency with other dungeons

    The whirlwind parkour could have a really nice change. Instead of relying on pull spell, there could be whirlpools on the platforms that have air particles swirling into them. You would have to jump into the particles to be dragged toward the whirlwinds.

    The new rework would remove the stupid cannon mechanic, so room 3 would be different. Instead of killing the armoured pirate with cannonballs, you kill him by killing the Adorabilis mates to make the Adorabilis attack the armoured pirate.

    Aside from a few graphical changes, the boat room stays the same since it's a fan-favourite in this dungeon

    Aside from some basic polish, the inner ship areas are also the same.

    Finally, the boss. This relies on the dialogue, so I'll say what the new boss lines would be:

    RB: So.. Ye've made it to me treasure room...
    RB: Ye think I'll let ya take me loot? Neptune, no!
    RB: Looks like ye're gonna have to FIGHT ME FOR IT!!!

    (he has 1 health and goes down in 1 hit)

    RB: Hehehehehe...
    RB: Ye little IDIOT!
    RB: NOW, ME SPIRIT IS FREE! I WILL TAKE OVER THE OCEAN...
    RB: AFTER I HAVE DISPOSED OF YE, ME LITTLE TREASURE-STEALING RAT!
    RB: CREW! GIVE ME YER SOULS!!!
    RB: HAHAHAHAHA!!!

    Redbeard then becomes a big boss, sort of like the Eye and the Canyon Colossus. The build is pretty much a giant ghost of him.

    The arena is a 10*10ish dirt platform with 3 large cannons at the back. Falling off the platform will take away a quarter of your health.

    Like the other large bosses, he has unique spells.

    Anchor: An anchor is launched at the player, doing a large amount of damage if it hits successfully. It then destroys the arena floor area it landed on as it is dragged back. The floor regenerates after 5 seconds.

    Ghosts: Pirate ghosts appear for a split second and charge at you. You have to dodge them. If they hit you, you take some damage

    Drown: Redbeard floods the arena for 10 seconds, making combat and avoidance harder.

    He also has some basic spells like arrow storm and multihit

    The cannons at the back of the room do 250,000 damage to Redbeard, but you have to choose one and they only activate every minute, Once one is used, it cannot be used again

    Defeated:
    RB: NO!!! NO!!! ALL OF THIS FOR NOTHING!!! WHY?? WHY!!?!??
    RB: I HAVE THIS ULTIMATE POWER AND I CANNOT DEFEAT A SINGLE GRAVEROBBER? IMPOSSIBLE!
    RB: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    (he then explodes and the dungeon ends)

    The dungeon now also gives more experience, so that it can be used like Undergrowth Ruins for easy leveling

    I like my boss design because it's unique and it would make Redbeard go from one of, if not THE worst boss in the game, to one of the best.


    Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard
    (annoyingly segmented by forums glitch)

    The dungeon's rooms would be relatively similar, just objectively harder. The boat room would not have that much of a difficulty increase, just to keep it fun.

    Here's the dialogue

    (he has more health this time and has actual attacks but is still trivially easy)

    CRB: Now, mortal..
    CRB: I will KILL you.
    CRB: MATEYS! GIVE ME YER SOULS!!

    He has more health now and does more damage, but is mostly the same. Falling off the arena does 50% of your health now. He also uses spells a lot more often

    Defeated:

    CRB: NO!! N#!!!!
    CRB: HO# DO YE K##P WINN#N?
    CRB: NO.. N#!!!!
    CRB: NOOOOOOOOOO##########################################

    Seems small, because I'm pretty sure movement spells like escape and charge could easily move that far. Maybe make it 20*20. Other than that good idea!

    This is so cool. It is not just simply a fix of the buggy parkour and unfair bossfight, but also make the dungeon really insteresting.
    Really hope they made dungeon bossfights and maybe also certain bosses in quests and altars. We already got enough "bosses" which tests your kiting against a strong mob with common abilities, or a ranged mob rapidly teleporting, having some of them aren't bad but we will be happy to see more bosses like The Eye. Just don't make them too hard.

    10*10 dirt blocks can't even fit in the cannons at the back I think, but I got an insteresting idea:
    Why not make the player's platform a chessboard/board game board or a raft? That'll fit much better than a square of floating dirt, and the attacks from redbeard can also be shown clearer and cooler.



    Btw I hope they'll fix the undergrowth ruins parkour. It is unfair and may glitchy reposition you, taking away all the momentum, making it impossible.
    It is a nice and very well built dungeon but the parkour made it unplayable

    It's completely fine and easy, I just see a lot of people who struggle on it blaming it on glitches

    Idk why but sometimes I can't get enough momentum. And when it started glitching it becomes unplayable because reaching the glitched area cause you to fall straight down.

    Maybe they should allow the players to skip parkour if they failed too much at the cost of less rewards? Or just give checkpoints in the second parkour in undergrowth ruins?

    i dont think it would break consistency, FF has cores and scrap and LS has explosives.

    CGG will probably not be added, because from the lore standpoint, the Ocean prevents the corruption from escaping Wynn. Because GG is inside the ocean, the lore would make no sense, and probably wouldn't be added because of that. Wynncraft likes its lore a lot, and something as self contradictory as CGG would kind of not be something that the CT would add.


    But however, I really like the rework you suggested before, as it makes the dungeon seem a lot better than it currently is.

    If you go to the forgery right now you'll see allocated portal gates for CGG and CFF, and CGG even says ''Corrupted Galleons Graveyard'' above it

    Plus, the corruption on the sea does make sense from a lore standpoint, because
    1. The corruption spreads like a weed underground, even under the ocean
    2. Skien island has corruption. Sure, it was spread there by a ghost, but it's still corrupted.
