One of the main complaints with the Temple of the Legends is that it has a really lame interior for such a prestigious and annoying to unlock place. This suggestion hopes to change that.

One thing I'd like is more rooms. Currently, there are only 3, which are the shop, training room and bank. I think it'd be nicer if there was:

    A revamped training room
    A shop
    A bank
    A new grinding room
A room for the boss altar
A planning room featuring a map of the Silent Expanse
A library covering the temple's history
A hall of fame containing a list of many heroes from Wynn history as well as portraits of them, to show us how they looked. This would include characters like Skien and Sodeta. There would also be each Twain (aside from Theorick) and Bob.
A daily puzzle room at the very back of the temple

To do this, the temple could either be stretched a bit, or the downstairs could be given an actual purpose.

Now here's what the rooms would be. I would quickly like to note that each room would now be a teleport, for the sake of space.

Instead of having a room where legend trainers spawn to fight you, there would now be 3 paths. The paths of Strength, haste and intelligence.

The strength room would contain a single training dummy, which works the same as the Housing training dummy. This room can be used as a DPS test, or to do the challenge. Once 100k-1mil (depending on your level) damage has been dealt to the dummy, you are given 1 Pendant of the Temple (new boss altar item)

The haste room would give you a parkour that relates to your current level. For level 70, you would have a regular parkour, while level 100s would be subjected to a barrier parkour. Completing the parkour gives you a Pendant of the Temple.

Finally, the intelligence room would give you a random replica of any non-??? puzzle in the game. The point of this room is to offer some puzzle help for the player, and it once again rewards the Pendant of the Temple.

Both would be the same except for probably a new build.

This replaces the old training room. Depending on your level, you would be placed in a scaled room where you can grind. It would now go from one of the worst grind spots to one of the best, as the enemies are easy to kill and give lots of EXP. However, to stop people from being discouraged to explore, it would not be as efficient as most around-the-world grind spots. It would exactly fit a mob totem, with a spot in the middle to indicate where a mob totem should go. I was going to make how I think the room should look, when I realised that it's 41 blocks wide. I don't have the time to do it now, but I might edit this thread to feature the room design later.

The boss altar would have a nice new room. That's it.

I do have a suggested change for the boss altar itself, though.

Firstly, I think it should be the first scaled boss altar. This means that you can take it on and be challenged at any level. Secondly, I think it should be much harder. There should be no pillars to camp behind, and the Magus should be more ruthless with his attacks.

Finally, some changes to the dialogue would feature the Grand Magus welcoming you to his chamber and wishing you good luck. When beaten, he would become an NPC and congratulate you, rewarding you with your loot.

There's not much to these other than the story of how the temple was made etc, but I won't write the lore because I'm sure there is already lore prepared for this place at some point.

I wanted a reason for people to come back to the temple daily, since it has so many utilities now. My aim is not just to make the temple better, but to make it used.

Every day, there would be a challenge to take, which scales to your level. I was inspired by Tempo Town for this. This would give lategame players a nice daily task, and it would offer suitable rewards.

The challenge would be randomly selected each day. It would include:

    A variety of mazes
    A few minibosses
    Parkours
    Puzzles
    Minigames

Depending on your quality when completing the challenge, you would get 1-5 Challenger's relics, which I will explain in a moment.

Here's what you would be ranked on, in order of how the challenges are listed above:

Time taken to complete the maze
    Damage taken
    Amount of fails
    Time taken to complete
    Points earned

Now, onto the Challenger's relics. There would be a Relic merchant nearby, and here are his trades (these are the level 100+ trades, lower levels would have different, more suitable trades)

    1le for 25 Challenger's relics
    T4 powders, 5 relics each
    Some armor and weapons
    T1 Legendary Crate for 10 Challenger's relics
    T2 Legendary Crate for 25 Challenger's relics
    T3 Legendary Crate for 50 Challenger's relics

Legendary crates would work similarly to the Forgery chest, but when purchased they would be added to your loot chest inventory, to be opened anywhere. Instead of being chests, they would be ender chests, and there would be no roll. The loot would include:

    Mythics (incredibly rare)
    Emeralds
    Tomes (rare)
    Fableds (rare)
    Dungeon keys
    Challenger's relics

Your chances of getting certain items increase based on the tier of your chest, so if you logged in 10 days in a row and did 5/5 available relics every time, you could get a T3 and have a 10% chance at getting a Mythic. The T1 has a 1% chance, and the T2 has a 5% chance.

A new Temple of the Legends TP scroll that costs 1 Pendant of the Temple each
A secret discovery near the Temple featuring some lore
Temple of the legends quest rework

That's all I really have to say, some of this stuff sounds very unrealistic for the Temple of the Legends, but I'd like some updates like these to it, and I would actually go there frequently if these were added.

I like this a lot. Would work really well with the Jungle Rework suggestion.

I want them all, this rework could be very interesting and put a little bit more the jungle area (which is one of my favourite) under the spotlights, also, maybe 10% is a little bit too much ? also it could be great to have some sort of animation like the cosmetic chest roll so others can see your rewards.

I chose 10% because you could easily get a mythic in less time with the Forgery Chest, since it isn't a daily thing

yeah but it requires a lot more stuff to do a full run, but anyway after thinking about it 10% seems fair.

what about an emerald option that is cheaper but a worse deal, (1 relic for 2eb maybe) both encouraging players to save up relics and providing an option if you don't have/want to spend 5+ days to get money

Ice Bear thinks it would be interesting if the temple of legends could only give low level mythics because at the moment there isn’t any good way to get them. Ice Bear says this also seems fitting given the temple of legends level.
