Skills Cant Go Past 64?

So when i was upgrading my agility i thought it was stuck on 64, but the. I realized that the block stack doens’t allow the level to go past 64. If you hover your mouse over it you can see it’s actual level, but it looks quite dumb. I suggest instead of making it so that you can see the level by hovering the mouse over the skill, but don’t make the book’s amount higher

 

So remove the number on the books in general? Is that what you’re suggesting?

the limit is actually 127 with plugins and/or specific commands

granted, not quite 150, but going up to 100 would be good already

in any case, a far cry from 64

 

Okay 127 sorry, I said later on I was pretty sure that plugins can't change that but apparently they can.

You already see how many skill points you have from hovering over it...

The stacked books are for early game players to get an easy view of how many skill points they have, so this would be dumb

 

Actually it's like the 32 bit integer limit. I've reached well over 1000 before using a glitch in survival. I don't know if spigot, bukkit, or even NMS can reach that properly, but they might be able to.

I was gonna point out that this probably wouldn't matter because by level 60 (around the earliest you'd likely end up with over 64 in one skill) you'd already have a firm grasp of how skill points work and don't need to be able to see, but I realized that you can get over 100 skill points by level 26, so uh. that's pretty astonishing frankly. But still, it's unlikely you'd end up with more than 64 in a single stat for quite some time.
