(Note: If you don't know what I mean by a Pink NPC, they are all these NPCs listed in the tags)
So, you know how in Lutho, every citizen just says: "..." This is explained in Point of No Return. However, one thing mildly bothers me when I buy something from a merchant in Lutho: They say 'Thank you for your business! Please come again!" And to me, I just am mildly annoyed by that. I thought they were not meant to speak at all, not be activated when you give them an Emerald.

So, what would keep the original stuff? I would say every major city in the game, mainly these:

Ragni, Detlas, Nemract, Almuj, Nesaak, Troms
Llevigar, Olux, Gelibord, Cinfras, Thesead, Eltom, Kandon-Beda, Ahmsord
    Corkus City, and Selchar

And some other minor areas that also keep the default dialogue:
    Bremminglar, Ternaves, Lusuco, Iboju
    Bucie, The Shiar, and Courag

Why? They don't possess any major dialectal difference to me. Now, here are some for the main cities and other places in the world where I feel like it needs its own dialogue:

    Rymek:
Unable to Afford Item: Get outta 'ere 'til ya get more gold!
    Purchase: No refunds.

    Pirate Cove:
Unable to Afford Item: Ye' best come back when ye got some real treasure, matey!
Purchase: Yarr, thanks for yer loot.

    Efilim:
Unable to Afford Item: Just because we welcome you folk doesn't mean we're going to give you these charms for free.
Purchase: Thanks for bringing the materials, here it is!

    Aldorei Valley:
Unable to Afford Item: While you are not tainted by greed, you cannot have this due to lack of currency.
Purchase: Thank you for your exchange. I'll share these with our fellow Elven folk.

    Lexdale:
Unable to Afford Item: You need more emeralds, better get some in the Gylia Plains compared to this useless area...
Purchase: Oh, thank you! This will go towards rebuilding our town.

    Gert Camp:
Unable to Afford Item: Gert need more meat!
Purchase: Thank for meat! Take dis, other Gert!

    The Hive:
If Qira Hive is not completed:
Unable to Afford Item: You do not have the items required for one of the artifacts of the {Element} division, challenger.
Purchase: Thank you. May luck be on your side, challenger.

    If Qira Hive is completed:
Unable to Afford Item: I'm sorry champion of the Hive, but you do not have the items required for that.
Purchase: Good luck on your adventures, champion.

    Thanos:
Unable to Afford Item: Trade up in the Bazaar a bit to get more wealth!
Purchase: Now keep or barter with it!

    Rodoroc:
Unable to Afford Item: Touch too short for that, you're a bit cold on money...
Purchase: Eheheh... Thanks for your cash!

    Maex:
Unable to Afford Item: What is that? Not enough I tell ya! Maybe get some more ille- I mean Emeralds for me!
Purchase: Thanks, kind human! Now I'll spend this on black mar- never mind.

    Void Village:
Unable to Afford Item: Yoooooou need more items, huuuuuuuuman.
Purchase: Thank yoooooou for your purchase.

    Lutho:
Unable to Afford Item: The merchant is putting their hand out for more Emeralds.
Purchase: The merchant takes the Emeralds from you.

And to another thing for the Pink NPCs, I am also slightly annoyed for when they are always Villagers. I mean, it makes sense in most areas, since they are basically wandering merchants, but in Lutho? Villagers don't even know the Silent Expanse exists, why would they be there. I think changing the standard Villager model to a model exclusive to a city (Ex. Rymek having merchants that have Bandit skins) would definitely give more diversity and life to cities.

What are your opinions on these changes to pink NPCs?

    Changelog:
First Change - Changed the Rymek Merchants 'Emeralds' to Gold Bars, Reworked the Lexdale dialogue, added Pirate Cove dialogue and added some other minor towns that keep the regular dialogue, added Efilim dialogue by @Potatomancer

    Agree with all
Also you forgot pirate town, ice nations and elfim. Pirate town would fit with the rymek merchant dialogue, and the ice nations can keep the generic. However for Elfim I have my own idea:
Can’t afford: “just because we welcome you folk doesn’t we’re going to give you these charms for free.”
Can afford: “thanks for bringing the materials, here is your charm!”
I’m pretty sure the only merchant in Elfim is an accessory merchant so this fits.

Merchants in rymek only take gold, so maybe switch emeralds to gold in that one. Otherwise good idea, makes it much more interesting to buy from different areas.

I love this idea, but I don't like the Lexdale dialogue. Here's what I would have done:

Unable to afford: Oh.. You don't have enough emeralds..
Purchase: Thanks for the purchase! If we get enough emeralds, maybe the Cinfras government will finally acknowledge us!
