Class Ultimate Abilities

    So this is sort of a general suggestion subject to changes. I feel like that each class could really be fleshed out by adding a sort of "ultimate ability". It would be activated by shift+right click and the cooldown would be between 1 and 5 minutes. (or it could be changed similar to powder specials). These are meant to be very strong abilities that could only be activated once or twice per fight and I dont think they should cost mana. I have 1 idea for each class so far but I think it would be really interesting to have a choice between maybe 3 for each class. This could really depend on your playstyle and I think it could really help add more dynamic build choices for endgame (it would be unlocked at least halfway through the game). Also maybe to prevent players from switching them too often, it would have a 15 minute cooldown to switch your selected one and would maybe take a soul point. Ideally each class has 3+ ultimate options.
    So here are my Ideas so far:

    Mage:
    Overheal

    Basically just a very large heal spell. Heals all nearby players to 100% hp (maximum 6 people) and gives them absorption hearts equal to 15% of your total HP. 4 min cooldown
    Astral Shower
    Rains 15 meteors in random places around the player in a 20 block radius. Each meteor deals 350% damage and the burning effect is removed. 2 min cooldown

    Archer:
    Scattershot

    This one isnt my favorite but its something. Basically a shotgun shot of 15arrows are shot out (similar to the shotgun mob attack but with more arrows) and the arrows would all be able to bounce around like bomb arrow and deal 125% damage each. 3 min cooldown
    Diamond-Tipped Quiver
    For the next 20 arrows shot (main attack) they gain multiple powerups. Each arrow gets +2% damage for every block traveled and can also bore through enemies, adding +100% damage for each mob they go through. 2 min cooldown

    Assassin:
    Critical Strike:

    Upon casting you make a quick dash in a straight line in the direction you are facing. If the mob isnt agroed on you, (vanish would help with this) you deal 600% damage and stun the mob for a couple seconds. If the mob is agroed on you it does normal melee damage and there is no stun. 2 min cooldown
    Shadow Clones
    Summon 6 clones of yourself that all do full damage but have 35% of your hp. They have pretty basic AI but all will target different mobs if available. While they are out the will cast spells at the same time as you do, but move independantly to target their own mobs (unless there are none available). They have a 30 second life span and all life steal and mana steal procs will affect you. 5 min cooldown

    Warrior:
    Shield Rush

    I think the vanilla sheild is underutilized in wynncraft and maybe it could be brought for this ultimate. Basically its just a Rienheart charge from Overwatch. You rush forwards with your sheild out, stunning enemies and trapping them on your shield until you hit a block and deal 300% damage on both impacts. Again mobs would be slowed for a short peroid afterwards. 3 min cooldown
    Fortified
    A large sheild/wall is set down at the players current location. It blocks all incoming projectiles and gives people behind it +500 health regen. 1.5 min cooldown

    Shaman:
    Writhing Roots
    All mobs inside your totem radius are grabbed by "tree roots" (maybe just green and brown particles) and held in place for multiple seconds. (Mobs with CCI are greatly slowed) It does damage over time equal to twice the current passive totem damage. Not a lot of damage because this will make them much easier to hit repeatedly with aura. 3 min cooldown
    Totem Bomb
    Greatly amplifies the totem explosion damage (maybe 500%) and deals massive knockback to mobs, scattering all of them upon landing. When uesd, it acts as a normal totem spell but there are fire particles around the totem as it flies through the air. 2 min cooldown

    Just to be clear: The player would only be able to have 1 of these selected at a time.

    So yeah those are my ideas let me know if you think they need any balancing and if you have any other ideas for ultimates please reply with them I'd love to hear them!

    1. uhhhh detail? like for ultamates the idea is there but it needs more sharp edges, maybe try giving dmgs and costs/ even visual effects. Look around the forums and see what others have done when making suggestions like this. Will help you in the future a LOT.

    2. Not to be rude, but your "ultamates" are kinda weak...
    heres are some ideas based from what u used I feel could be stronger

    Mage: the ones u made is good as is, good for what mage is, the mobile life support.

    Archer: Cannon fire - Shoot a beam of 25 arrows a seccond for 5 secconds. Each arrow does 50% dmg. Cast time: 2 seconds, recharge 20 min.

    Assassin: Assassinate - when in vanish deal 25% of a mobs HP as true dmg. However upon exiting vanish take 50% increased dmg for 3 seconds and have slowness 3 for 2. Cast time: 1 sec, recharge 20-30 min

    Warrior: Og idea was pretty neat and yeah MC shields should be used in wynn 100% agree. Maybe like this tho?
    Steadfast - Gain 70% of your hp as Bonus health for 10 secconds, with 500% hpr and +400 raw hpr. Redirect 90% incoming dmg from allies to yourself. Aliies must be within 9 blocks of you. cast time: 4 seconds, recharge 30 min

    Shaman: Soul lock - CCI nolonger affects your attacks for the next 30 seconds. Cast time: 2 sec, recharge: 20 min

    Soul lock honestly should be a major ID for some shaman weapon or smth bc CCI chews ass like its cake

    Overall your idea is alright just needs some fine tuning.

    Well I think the reason you thought my ultimates were unterpowered were because I wasnt clear on what I thought cooldown times would be. I was thinking like between 2 and 5 minutes max. Ill edit some of them to include cooldown times and talk about some visual effects and damages.
    Also good suggestions regardless! I really like warrior one you came up with.
    However I really wanted to stay away from things toooo similar to current spells and try things that fit current playstyles for each class.

    One issue is the shift-right clicking is pretty common, especially as mage where that helps give you precision on your teleport when you cheat on parkour.

    A cool thing would be for the ultimate abilities to be the spells Bob is shown using

    Mage, for example, could have:
    Frost Serpent (giant ice serpent is summoned to completely freeze mobs in its path, made with an armor stand model)
    Fire bomb (Giant meteor that is stronger than the usual meteor)

    Having ults is a very cool idea but a lot of your suggestion are too op or just not very original (like astral shower), I dont think taking already existing spells and just getting them overpowered will be very interesting. Maybe another way to cast the ult will be better because at the moment its too much simililar too powder specials.

    Honestly I don't play any class other than assassin enough to really care about their abilities, but they seem fine to me. I think Shadow Clones is really cool, but I think they shouldn't have to attack different mobs, honestly I think they should damage whatever you're attacking with a damage pentalty and a timer on how long they can last in addition to their reduced HP, with Critical Strike I just think it should be a normal ability that scales with spell damage with 600% damage and damages all mobs you dash through with like a 1.5 second stun and a 6-10 min cool down. I think ultimate abilities should be a bit busted for how little they can be used. Also make them all drain your mana completely or maybe by half, not affected by intel or neg spell cost.

    I like these but I think it should be charged up like a powder special. Even if that isnt a good idea, the timers for them are too long. Judging by how boss fights will usually only take about 5-10 minutes, and the fact you probably would use it beforehand, the ultimates would pretty much never be used.

    Yes I tried to make them unique but a couple of them ended up being more like regular spells (like astral shower where I just wanted an offensive mage one) and maybe something that could distinguish them from powder specials would be a cast time? Its hard to add an interesting way to cast them without completely changing the current system.

    Yeah a mana drain would help them balance a lot and OOH i love the idea of critical strike going through multiple mobs! Also Ill add a timer to the Shadow Clones

    The Idea was for the more powerful ones to be used only once (maybe twice) for a boss fight. I mean you said it boss fights last around 5-10 minutes and with a 5 minute cooldown one you could cast it most likely twice and with the lower cooldown ones, maybe 3 or 4 times.

    Ok times can be lowered. The thing is if they are ults they should be VERY powerful but have long times or has drawbacks.
