Everybody I can think of thats really powerful in magic:

    1. Bob
    2. Twains
    3. Siegfred (the real one, assuming they did magic)
    4. Lari
    5. Aledar
    6. Tasim
    7. Ragnar (who dis guy)

Thats 6/10 humans and 1/10 elf (there are 4 twains)

Order of the grook says magic goes from elf -> dogun -> villager -> human
But why is everyone good at magic a human?
The only villager I can think of that does magic is the ??? npc who helps out siegfred at the start of the quest.

There should be more villager magic dudes. I know they all like emralds too much and are lazy but like didnt the villagers drive out the skyraiders from ahmsord? If they can fight off skyraiders they must be pretty powerful.

Also dwarves are supposedly almost as powerful as humans so they should have some magic too.

one more thing. Order of the grook says “Humans are often though of [being] as magical [as]... villagers, due to some Fruman soldiers seeming to know some magic innate, but this is untrue.”

so... humans cant do magic? Obviously untrue. Or maybe humans can only do magic with weapons, which makes sence, except the twains exist.

I have no idea what this means. Probably that order of the grook needs a rework.

As I remember it, it was just that there were too many villagers, not that they were necessarily better at fighting.
Almost all humans can't do magic without wands/other enchanted weapons. The Twains were special, they were born with their powers, and it's very rare for that to happen with humans (outside royal Frumans, I guess). All the others have to have weapons to use magic.
I think it's an option under thread tools in the top-right corner.

Anyways, about the suggestion itself, it's not really a bad idea. There are some villager soldiers shown in Gavel, so it would make sense for some to be mages, especially given their superior magic talent. Of course, there are villagers in mage island and at Grookwarts, but having some elsewhere would be nice too.

There's at least 6 mobs in Llevigar called ''Llevigar high mage'' so there you go.

I mean, the Order of Grook dialogue says that the innate magicality, invisible, and must never be assumed, so it could be fluid in some species.

Essentially what I'm saying is, I want to see a Gert mage.
