    HORSE UPDATE IDEAS:

    1. Purchasable Storage

You can buy storage for your horse, basically. You could buy a chest from, say, the horse merchant in Ternaves and then attach the horse storage to your horse and you can store things inside of that horse storage.

    2. Horse Armor and Horse Damage

Horses don't take damage. They should. One time, I jumped off of a high point in Llevigar on my horse and I didn't take any damage, whatsoever. This should be addressed. If I go into a clump of mobs, I get damaged, but my horse doesn't. It should take damage. In addition to this, horse armor should be implemented.

Leveling up my horse should give it more health as well, just like if you leveled up combat.

So what happens if your horse dies? Do you lose the horse? Horse breeding can cost a lot of money so I would not like to have a chance of losing my horse.
If you don't lose the horse then what's the point in adding damage anyways?

Possibly the horse could have a cooldown after it dies (say, after your horse dies, you can't use it for 5 minutes)

That seems annoying, because that would severely slow down travel.
This is still an interesting suggestion, it just doesn't have a lot of detail.

I don't really see a reason to change horses at all and add extra features to them. Only thing that could need changing is the sheer rng of horse breeding but the horses themselves aren't broken or flawed, so they don't need fixing.

Honestly, if they just made it so the breeding success chance increased and the absolute failure (horse goes down a level) chance decrease as the horses gain xp it would be a lot better. I don't think a 100% chance would be good, but maybe a 50% chance of success when both horses are max level would go a long way. It would also be nice if there was a way to level horses beyond running in circles for an hour, maybe an obstacle course or a race track minigame or something.

I also want a 45 white horse but that's a whole other can of worms which is probably best unopened...

As for the suggestion, the storage thing is kind of pointless, it's basically just an extra backpack and horse armor is a cool idea, but it would be better as a cosmetic. The whole point of horses is for them to be convenient so I don't think it's a good idea to make them more of a pain in the ass for the sake of it. I get that it isn't realistic that your horse can fall a hundred blocks and be fine, but it's better that then needing to walk to the horse vet every time you make a small mistake and fall off a cliff.

The first idea seems like a backpack in disguise and the latter is just annoying.

    No from me

Maybe I wouldn't mind this, but probably not as it could either be OP or glitch out and lose your stuff (such as from putting your horse away, it turning into a donkey and glitching the items or logging out)

    That would be awful, sorry
