Role-play Commands

How about adding /sit and /lay commands to help people role-playing and just getting fun? if you won't do this into the game, you may allow sitting/laying on specific things like, uh, chairs, stairs, carpets, etc.

Sounds fair enough, I don't really mind either way if it goes in game as it won't effect me. There might be some glitches to it though

 

Cool idea. If possible elaborate and add more detail. Also add a poll plz. The issue with this is how would the player get out or sitting? Just hit space again? Also could this effect combat? —if ppl start spamming /sit during fights I will highkey hunt them off the server. We are not using CoD/apex strats in a mf Minecraft mmo—

 

Well, most plugins i've seen on other servers makes it act like you are on an invisible and unkillable minecart that is stationary. Hitting the shift key will get you out of the minecart and kill the minecart and the same time. Also, in my past experience with these plugins, you can still hit people when they are sitting/laying. So in all, this would be kinda cool, and it could lead to epic photos with shaders of people sitting places just chilling.

sounds pretty cool, idk if laying down would work in 1.12(no swim or crawl animation), but i can't see any reason not to add sitting, as it just adds a cool little visual

 

Actually it would be the lie down in bed animation.

Honestly this would be very funny in some places. Your just casually sitting down with your ultra tank build while Lari is trying to beat the heck out of you.

 

Lol yes, things like this would be ridiculous. Like people could do EO while doing the boss sitting down the whole time, or other funny things like that.

 

I don't know if that would work well when the player isn't actually in a bed, but if it does that'd be a good idea.

 

I've seen a lot of people lie down on ground on other servers using a plugin that makes it think you are in a bed. I think it works by force putting you in a bed (so you can still /lay during day) then teleporting you without the bed where you were before.

 

Okay. In that case it seems like a fun feature.
