    Introduction

I don't know if this has been suggested recently, but from my (admittedly small) research, it hasn't. Basically, this would be a system where players who get to max level (I'd suggest it being 105, so they can do 106 if they so choose) have the option of starting a New Game+, or an NG+. This would bring up a GUI of some sort in which they'd choose a number of items to carry over with them into the new game. It essentially would reset all of their quests (maybe their discoveries, too) but carry over their level, similar to how games like The Witcher 3 have New Game+ systems. Another option could be for people to be able to put on extra modifiers (Hunted, Ironman, Craftsman, Hardcore) for their New Game+. It wouldn't allow you to remove any, if you already had them on when creating the character, but in case someone played through Wynn normally but wants to do an NG+ with Craftsman, they can do that upon making an NG+.

    Why?

It would allow players to get stronger stuff, as the items in the new game+ would be overall stronger. Mobs would probably be stronger, maybe bumping up their levels by a lot. As for levelling, it could be taken in one of two ways:
    - Quest, Dungeon and Discovery XP in the new game could be scaled to actually help towards getting level 106.
    - New levels would be added specifically for the people in the NG.
Another problem would be the multiplayer aspect. The Witcher 3 is singleplayer, so it's not a problem for them. For Wynn, I was personally thinking there could be separate NG+ servers dedicated to those people, so it doesn't clash with current spawning and doesn't ruin the experience for a potential new player who starts out with level 40 mobs in Ragni because there's an NG+ player near.

    Conclusion

I fell in love with The Witcher games, which is probably why this suggestion came to mind in the first place. I think this would be a cool idea to extend progression in Wynn without necessarily adding more content. This is also my first suggestion, so any/all feedback is appreciated, and if I did anything wrong, please let me know. I really like this server and the group of people that work for it is fantastic, so I'd like to help in any way I can :P.

P.S. If I think of anything else, I'll add it to the original ideas, but for now this is all I have in mind.

While I enjoy playing NG+ in other games, I don't think it is a good fit for Wynncraft. Mainly because it would divide the players between different servers, those on the normal worlds and those on NG+ worlds. The only way I would feel it could work is if NG+ players could play on the same worlds as others, however that would, as you said, bring forth a plethora of problems.

There are also already sort of a way to start over with the same items, just leave the items you want in the bank. But yeah that isn't really NG+, but it is still there.

How it maybe could be implemented is to nerf the newly created NG+ character to the same level as a level 1 character in terms of actual damage dealt to the mob, but locally show higher damage values for the player so it feels like you do massive damage on a low level enemy while in reality that is not the case. Still, it would be hard to balance the game for a NG+ player as every item needs to be taken into consideration. Furthermore I don't think you should be able to start a NG+ with any challangemode if that character did not already have them as you could just stock up on materials and ingredients prior to starting NG+ and then start just steamroll HICH.

So while the underlaying idea of NG+ is cool, I can't see how it would be implemented, especially since you already can create a new character with items from a previous run.

Although NG+ would be very cool and works fine in singleplayer, it would be almost impossible in multiplayer and the restrictions they have with Minecraft.
