If all teammates have died, You shouldn't get crystallised or else there's no way out and it's game over.

 

That's... kinda the point.
Its made to incentive, and largely require teamwork.
Frankly, it's probably the best MMO boss in the game as of right now,
and that's in no small part, not because it forces you to party with other players in order to get to it, or because it forcefully kicks you out when you're down to one player, but because it legitimately requires teamwork, and multiple players.

 

im pretty sure the solo crystallization thing is a bug but i could be wrong

 

That's the point, you should not let your teammates die in the process.

Ok, sure, then just kick them out, instead of giving them (probably) quite high chances to be just stuck in a block, waiting for the inevitable doom.
Logical, right? They would probably not complete it either way, so what is the difference?
Too bad? Ok, if there is only one player left and they get crystallised just kill them to at least speed it up. At least they will save time.

No, simple crystal disable might not be the best idea, but a temporary freeze or an option to get out (perhaps by "killing" the crystal) might be much better solution then just say "f*** you, die"

 

The thing is, if you remove the crystals when there's only one player, there's nothing stopping people from having all but one person die and letting that one person solo the boss. Sure, you could say that's a good thing to let people do if they want, but the point of Orphion is to force people to work together, so I don't really think it is. I'm not sure how this would work (if it is possible, which I somewhat doubt), but imo there would have to be some counter-measure to stop people from doing this if solo crystals are removed. That, or we just accept that you're screwed when there's one person left, and the crystal basically insta-kills them instead of making you wait (or you just lose immediately when there's one person left).

 

It's intentional, but I think it should just fail the raids if there is one person left, instead of insisting you suffer the pain of waiting for your inevitable death.

 

I think that only ONL should kick you if theres 1 person, i've had groups in TCC that everyone died but 1 and the last guy saved us
