Currently, Shaman's stats are presented like this:
    Damage: 5
    Defense: 0
    Range: 4
    Spells: 4

Instead, I suggest reworking like this:

    Damage: 5
Defense: 3 (Base armor of 80%, same as mage)
    Range: 2
    Spells: 3

    Here are the reasons:
Range: Though shaman is ranged, it mostly benefits from close midrange combats. Its main attack is shotgun-like. You have to get close to your totem to be able to cast haul/aura, and even more closer to benefit from totem. After all, you'll fight in similiar range to mage, so it would be 2-3.

    Spells: Many reasons.
    1. Aura's prison doesn't work on most bosses anymore.

    2. Haul is the worst mobility spell. It always require a totem. It pulls you towards the totem, even though your totem will usually be right next to enemy. Also consider totem's shitty aerodynamics.

    3. Uproot pulls enemies to you by default, even though you benefit from staying away. It can push but again it's nullified by CCI.

Defense: Shaman really needs more defense. It already suffers from poor mobility, worse than any other class.
Shaman itself is already hard enough, this makes it even harder. Along with recent nerfs and CCI, it's too scary to play shaman basically.

I think its defense is what's preventing people from making fun stuffs with it. As most recently added class, it has most freaky and fun weapons, but it is discouraged simply because it's too risky. Of course it's supposed to be hard, but it's too much.

    Thoughts?

Yes but the recent nerfs killed it. I had a tank shaman that would survive almost anything as long as I had a totme. however now my totem barely heals anything. I die alomst all the time and CCI ended any sort of shaman fun. Overall shaman went from challange -> soul sucking death

Shaman was easy as fuck before, it needed a nerf. The problem isn't shaman it's the CCI.

Pretty much. CCI shouldn't exist (or at least half the spells that are actually affected really shouldn't be affected by CCI)
Seriously I hate shaman but why is uproot and arrow shield now borderline completely useless due to CCI? Uproot does nothing, while arrow shield only works when the rain starts.
Mage doesn't depend on ice/teleport thankfully saving it from being put in the completely useless bin but yeah, I don't get why it needed CCI to affect them. Since both are decent but a few bosses will still pretty gladly find a way to still try to murder the mage.
