Wynncraft.com's main page recently received some new next: World Record Holder / #1 RPG Server / Played by Millions

It's some nice text. Boasts of the server's accomplishments and gives it a sense of prestige to people arriving to the site.

    However,

A good part of what makes that splash page work so well is how clean it is. The "Wynncraft, the Minecraft MMORPG" subheading threatened that, but it was ultimately not too intrusive and kept that sense of cleanliness intact.

This new change, however, is the straw that breaks the camel's back. There are now four lines of text underneath the logo, and the ever-increasing line width breaks the effect of the declining text size.

My feedback suggestion is to move that text to a triad of boxes underneath the splash page, but above the news section. Widen that a bit, and use the hand-drawn image aesthetic on the "about' page to give it some more of that diegetic feel.

This preserves the clean, open expanse feeling of the splash page, while also making sure that the information is still one of the first things a prospective site visitor sees.

If you have a better idea, please, leave a comment on the thread. I'm not a website designer, and maybe there's a better way to go about this. I am, however, a frequent website user. Like a customer tasting a bad dish, I can see a problem.
