1.20 Loop Hole - Add Quest Req.-s

I originally posted this in bug reports but was told to post it here

Because of the "Reclaiming the rouse" and "From the mountains reworks, there are now 3 big plot holes in future quests
1. There is no requirement to finish From the mountains without finishing D&D, so if yuo do the quest and Axelus dies, then you start From the mountains, Axelus will magically be resurrected
2. Same issue with A journey beyond: If you do "Reclaiming the house" after Elphaba gets killed by an iritack, she will magically reappear
3. Sort of related: Even if you did "Reclaiming the house" before "A journey beyond", Elphaba
acts like she doesn't know you

yeah I agree, D&D should require From the Mountains and AJB should require Reclaiming the House

 

Quests are meant to be done in order of level. All this would do is make people that don't wanna do quests angry that stuff that advances the story (AJB) or stuff that unlocks fast travel (D&D) is suddenly locked behind another quest.

I'm surprised Aldorei's secret II wasn't re made because that really doesn't fit with the new Part 1. Kansard and the other guy are still in the embassy and talk to you about the boots that elrund you no longer exists gave you - there were no boots in the new part I (??????)


Oh and same thing applies to discoveries as after Lari dissappears, you could still meet her in a discovery or in a quest she makes a cameo in

 

Would just like to mention that FTM has a special dialogue from Axelus if you've done D&D anywhere up to part 4 (part 4 puts the dialogue back to default) so giving it a quest req would defeat the point

Honestly I think this is hilarious.
I dont like quest requrements but maybe they should add them in this case or make the first quests impossible to do after doing D&D/A journey

Also they should change the dialogue a bit because the NPCs already know us

 

For the discoveries I think we can consider it like a flashback (for the ones when she dialogues with you)

 

Oh sure, lock content for people. If I would not do quests and then once decide to do them, starting with DnD because it was closest FTM would get locked for me and I would be just "What? why?"
