Now that I have completed the RoL questline, I thought I'd better give some feedback.
I personally quite like the questline as a whole, Lari seems a bit weird at some points but I won't go into that.
    Anyway, feedback on Part 3:

    Problems
    1. 50% of the lore about Light and RoL seems stuffed into this quest:
    • The Dark parasite entering the RoL
    • Lari not stopping the Decay
    • Dullahan being murdered
    • Dullahan murdering others
Okay, it might not be that much but there seems to be like 10 different cutscenes.

    2. It's all reading and walking and not much else.
There's the cool little cutscenes but that's mostly just reading and watching the action play out.
As I said, it introduces some new lore and stuff but there's really not much to do.
A single battle with some warden but that isn't really relevant to the story, and there aren't really any puzzles either.

    3. Not a big deal, but the inside of the castle is huge and the building doesn't seem that big on the outside.

    What I liked about it
The fact that it did add new lore - yes, I've just complained about it but having new lore and being able to make new connections is always a good thing (imo).
The animations - again, I complained about how many there are but I like how the GMs (I think it's them not entirely sure) have once again improved their trickery and made them even higher quality.

I'm sure I missed some things, and I don't have any suggestions or anything, but I thought these warranted mentioning.

Me, @Blastbasher and @Matteo_Games agreed that it is a great quest /at least much better than before).

Yes, but yes, it doesn't have much action.

I don’t think action is always needed. Yes a good story and good gameplay are needed in near equal quantities, but if a great story shows up with little gameplay for a bit or vice versa I’m fine with it.

the lore is nice but I just don't want to watch 10 unskippable cutscenes in a quest

It was good the first time around, but please make it skippable, I don’t want to have to do it 6 times on all of my classes in preparation for the orphion raid

This was certainly a huge step up from the original, and cutscenes imo were really good. However, the problem is that once you've seen the cutscenes once, it automatically becomes very stale the next time you see it. When you see it the first time, you're like, "Wow! What will happen next?", but afterward, it turns into "parasites going to live, ive seen this before." I think once you complete the quest on one class, it will offer an option to skip the cutscenes.

I don't get people who diss this quest. Well, sort of. You see, I'm the type of guy who goes into a quest to enjoy the lore and the content and not for the emeralds or things to unlock. People who don't like this quest usually are the latter. I can understand it in their perspective, watching 10 unskippable cutscenes really doesn't appeal if you want to quickly run through the quest. Since a lot of people do this quest to unlock ONoL on their classes, I think this quest should not be required for the Light questline since all it really does is provide extra lore that isn't used elsewhere in the questline and it completely strays away from the Lari storyline.
