Keep champions who joined after 50 players in champion slots?

  2. No (reason: this forces f2ps to buy bombs making more money for wynn)

  3. No (reason: this makes the champion slots slightly worse and champions payed for that perk)

Professions are by far the most grindy part of the game and bombs can speed the XP gain up 4 times. Both for gathering and crafting, plenty has already been said about the XP boosts for gathering. This is more so about crafting professions.

After lvl 80, prof XP and speed bombs are widely considered a must to level. For f2p players, this isn't always an option. So they will often do gathering mostly without XP and speed and their crafting with XP and speed. In order to get into a server with prof XP and speed, one would often have to wait for 45+ minutes in the lobby, checking wether or not someone left the server.
It is very rare to be able to get into this server as a free to play before the bombs drop because the top professions players coördinate the bombs with eachother (see: prof tryhard discord ludicrous/insane channels), so almost only bombs thrown by people who aren't that much into professions will be thrown on servers full of random people.

waiting 45+ minutes once every few weeks if there's a long profession party going on is much, MUCH less work (and yes, even less boring) than it would be to level crafting up without those bombs.

    However!

With champion slots, these servers with profession parties get a sort of queue of 5 players before them. Only once 6 players have left the server, if in the meanwhile no champion has joined (big if), they can get on the server with prof XP and speed. This basically does not happen, imagine a prof XP/speed server before champion being on 44 or fewer players.

This makes it way more difficult to level these skills up than it used to be.
(in short: f2p players can't get into prof bombed servers anymore, which is necessary for profs)

To adress this problem, I'd love to just give a complete overhaul to the way professions and profession bombs work. But that's incredibly unrealistic in the next few years.

As an alternative, I'd like the following:
Keep champion slots how they are now, except the champions who join once the server is at 50/50 players STAY in those champion slots. So when a random non-champion leaves, it becomes:
    49/50 players
    5/5 champion slots

rather than what it becomes now:
    50/50 players
    4/5 champion slots.

This'd still give champions easier acces to bombed servers but once the champion slots are full non-champions actually gain the ability to join the bombed server.
