    Forgery Chest is a good addition to the game, however there are something about the chest and the dungeons that I wanted to voice it out. Consider this a rant though.

    Fixed issue is in green and still important issue is in red. Yellow are the ones that I am unsure of whether it is fixed yet, but its still important.

    1. Forgery Chest counting condition

    I understand that you guys don't want wallhuggers opening Forgery chest and eventually get a mythic for doing basically nothing. I really understand that, so I am not being really critical here. However one thing.

    Why are you forced to kill 25 mobs in Corrupted Underworld Crypt just to count it in? For solo it is easy for sure, however I severely doubt that a party of 3-4 can all fulfill such condition. Even though you CAN do it, it is not even logical as well. Think of it, how many mobs are you REQUIRED to kill just to get to the boss room? You only need to kill ONE mob only in CUC. Others are survival rooms. Asking people to kill mobs in this particular dungeon doesn't really make sense, since 90% of the time you can just walk through the other mobs.

    Note that killing boss minions doesn't count for mob killed. Just why?

    And some people with tank builds or people with lower levels can't really take the kill most of the time, which makes the condition kinda unfair to these kind of people.

    Here are some of my proposal though:
    - Adjust mob kills requirement of some dungeons. (CDS: 18 > 20, CLS: 30 > 25, CUC: 25 > 10)
    (The reason why I think CUC requirements should be a lot lower is because it makes you more focused in surviving instead of fighting mobs. For CLS you don't NEED to kill mobs other than creepers either. Yet CDS has more battle phases but significantly less mobs for the count requirement)

    - The requirement in some dungeons should be "put in 1-3 tokens" or "kill 1-3 mobs which drops tokens".
    (If you wanted to discourage wall-hugging, then forcing them to grab some tokens in dungeons like CUR or CIB is the most straightforward way to go, my opinions though)

    2. Forgery Chest resetting
    In my opinion, the chest shouldn't reset NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED. However maybe there is something I don't understand.

    This is very discouraging to unlucky people who got stuck or having an unstable internet. And to me, leaving the forgery or switching servers SHOULD NOT trigger forgery chest reset as well. Here is why:

    - Having an unstable/slow internet means you are fucked if you aren't tanky enough. I don't think I need to explain more about this.

    - If you are stuck in a dungeon, you have to do /kill just to get out. But if you get out, your chest will be reset as you died.

    - In most cases people are switching servers is because the original server is laggy as heck. Imagine switching from a 50 people server to a 25 people server. However forgery chest don't want you to do that.

    - As the bank is OUTSIDE THE FORGERY, you have to have 7 slots for keys and several more slots for dungeon tokens. I doubt that you guys would expect people throwing away dungeon tokens though, even though I do.

    - I didn't mention sudden restart here. (Does disconnecting resets after patch 1? Anyone tested it?)

    Here are some of my proposal:
    - Allow people to leave forgery without reseting the chest.
    (Really, I don't see why don't they want to keep the progress of the chest. It is like leaving a minecraft world that you worked on for several hours and you are forced to start over just because you left the world.
    I am fine as I leeched dungeon bombs for the chest but if other people are using keys and they lagged out for some reason, it would be frustrating)

    - Add a "forgery" tag in classes that has a forgery chest counter of more than 1. The tag will be in your class selection screen. If you type /class or /switch or /hub and relog as the same character before, you won't reset the chest. Otherwise the chest resets.
    (This allows people to switch servers inside the forgery without resetting the chest or in case anything bad happened in a server.)

    - DO NOT reset chest counters made by dungeon runs with keys.
    (Because players really paid time for the runes and keys, it isn't fair if anything happens to them or their server and their chest got reseted because of something that isn't their problem at all)
    My words: The reason I deem this one particular solution important is the fact that dungeon keys are generally hard to find and are expensive as well, also consider rune guardians, they could be hard to find sometimes. Corrupted keys aren't something that you can get within 10 minutes. However if you ran into some shitty issues which accidentally have you killed, not only that the key is going straight to waste, but also your forgery chest counter, which is currently the main source of corrupted dungeon XP.

    3. Dungeons itself
    For god's sake, fix the barrier bug in CIP and increase the drop rate of bones in CUC boss. These two are the most frustrating part for forgery chest runs. Some people even thinks that manually killing Charon with a party could be faster than reviving General Graken to kill him.

    And just now I killed corrupted slykaar but the slime and other stuff doesn't show up for me. Well, time + key well spent.

    Please ensure that players won't get stuck / bugged or won't run into something unexpected (other than internet) before telling them NOT to leave the forgery or reset their chest. This is really. Fucking. Frustrating. For those who spent their keys or money (dbomb) for the chest.

    EDIT: Here are also some problems worth addressing.
    Even Corrupted Lost Sanctuary has this issue with the creepers not spawning at the boss stage, when you are meant to gather 9 TNTs and throw Garoth into lava. Thanks @oinuk

    I didn't mention this but thanks @ccccccccccccccc . Sometimes if you kill multiple mobs in the same time with exploding or whatever AoE skills or IDs, it only adds 1 mob to the counter. As an exploited assassin I don't really experience it that much, but that kind of explains why sometimes I end up with different numbers of mob kills in the first room of CUC. And yep, it needs fixing too.

    All right. Time for this to get bumped back to the top because very important.

    Also my own personal thoughts on this after running a full forgery run with a party of 4 (two tfa anthracite ballista and two tfa cata).

    For CUC, something definitely needs to be done. We killed all the mobs we could and NONE of us got the 25 threshold. We had a 24, a 23, someone around 20, and someone less. I think the only way it would be possible is afking boat room and not starting boat and just farming off the first two spawn spots, but that is really, really, really shitty gameplay.

    Additionally, the mob kill requirements really hurt tankier builds. In my run, cata builds one shot everything- big surprise there. However, tank archer melee took considerably longer to kill enemies, which was fairly frustrating, especially in cases like CUC CDS CIP and CLS.

    For forgery chest reset it would definitely be nice to have, so you can try CUC again after failing 8 times due to the literally zero mob spawn rates, but I'm still kind of indifferent on this.

    Barrier bug in CIP is definitely tedious if your group doesn't know what they are doing, but you can also get it to work fairly easily with a bit of coordination. Definitely needs fixing, but it isn't the end-all of forgery runs.

    Yep. Can confirm that it is DEFINITELY faster to dps Charon. We got 0 bones by the time we had killed him, even though we killed all arena mobs. This is also the case for Garoth. By the time we dps'd him, we only had 5/9 tokens. Part of this is dual cata run, but I would imagine most non-fulltank parties of 4 would be able to DPS Garoth faster than creepers spawn.

    One of a guy in a 4-people squad only killed 15 mobs one time... (Exploited assassin, ttide archer, apoc warrior, Judas mage) It ended up that the archer and the mage can take kills most of the time when the warrior couldn't hit the threshold in CLS and CUC.

    And I don't know what could trigger the barrier bug, sometimes it just works fine but most of the time it bugs and fucks your run.

    100% agree with all the points here. Apart from the tedious aspects such as as the drops for Charon and the creeper portion being so awfully slow, those adding up to points where you'll get timed out due to unstable internet/whatever circumstances or the boss not even appearing makes it incredibly frustrating to even play the game for the forgery chest. All those issues appearing are just heavily discouraging to even bother grinding keys and running the dungeons themselves again.

    For achieving the mob threshold, in the very first room that you appear in upon entering the giant door there are a bunch of mobs that appear right at the start. That's the perfect opportunity to kill them as there is no other opportunity for the remainder of the run, assuming that you're with a party of course.

    we tried that lol. every single one of the mobs died. none of our party of 4 reached threshold that run.

    it's technically possible to do because multiple people can get kill credit off of a single mob, but like. it's such a pain. to do it that way. and it still requires really good communication for dungeons like cuc

    Part of the problem with the mob kill count is that killing more than 1 mob at the same time only adds 1 mob killed to your counter. Even though the dungeons have a lot of mobs, because they often come in close groups they don't end up counting for a lot of kills.

    Today I was experimenting with the forgery to see what happens when I do /lobby and change servers and the chest was 2/7 just as I left it, so it was kind of a relief as I had no idea what would happen.
    I am not sure if this is due to hotfix#4.

    My forgery chest got cancelled for literally walking through the CLS portal.... wtf game?

    Also, one good idea would be a /leave command that takes you out of a dungeon but doesn't cancel the chest. Useful for if u get locked somewhere

    Basically, when you are in a dungeon and switched servers, your forgery chest wouldn't reset. However if you did that in the forgery, the chest does. This doesn't make sense because people could still experience shitty random issues in the forgery which could still lead to the reset of their chests.

    strange, there isn't any hotfix since Saturday, but my chest reset when I was lagging out in the 23214th time (my internet shit) in Sunday.

    (this counts as a bump yea)

    100% agree. I thought forgery chest would be my favorite addition of the update, but I don't have any motivation to do it since it's so easy to get your chest reset.
