World Birds! [100% Approval]

This might be difficult to make, but I think it would be cool if in certain areas of the map, or just entirely random, there could be different passive species of birds flying around. Like seagulls near docks and islands, and falcons near mountains and hills, and other generalized birds that just add more life and nature to the provinces!

Most birds would be passive (green named) and just fly randomly, either in groups or by themselves, throughout different spawning zones. Some other birds might be aggressive and try to fight you, so you'd have to be extra careful and keep a close eye on the skies.

Please note that these are anatomical birds and not related in any way to the Avos. They are just like the regular ol' birbs you see outside.


Edit: Thanks for the upvotes on the poll! I'm thinking it would make sense to match different species of birds to be biome-specific. So there could be regular birds in forests and grasslands, maybe hostile birds in the angry village/other hostile environments, perhaps some mutated and corrupted birds in the Silent Expanse. Firebirds near Rodoroc, Crows in Olux Swamp, etc.

 

Would also be a cool idea to have some birds have rare items or ingredients to make searching for them more interesting.

 

Birds as the mob already exist in the jungle but yeah I want more of them

Maybe using 1.12.2 makes bees not appear

 

I'm using 1.12.2 and I see bees sometimes

They're swarming these cool little bee hives so far I've only seen them in deltas but I hope I see them in other cities like Cinfras or some other random small town

 

It would be incredible to have Ravens in the dark and kander forest (and other ghostly areas) and if we can hear them croak it will add so much life and ambiance to these areas.

I would love if we had passive wildlife like birds flying over and the occasional rabbit leaping through the fields so +1

 

In the Sky Islands, there are chunky bees made of blocks

 

The addition of birds would also support the addition of flightless creatures, such as passive penguins and puffins

 

Please make birds that fly in the sky... not just those mobs who "walk" around.

 

Yeah, there would be both flying and flightless birds.

this is totally possible, as we can see ava and maxie flyin' around the lab tower after you finish feathers fly pt. 2 (i still wonder where they are going, im sure a mage could fly to follow them to check, but my mage isnt leveled for it yet)

There are small beehives around the map that have like three little bees flying around them! There even was a community event about it. Theyre cool
