Increase Rewards For Scrapping Black Markets

I think it is unfair to expect someone to trade in 5 BM items for 10 Epics. I and a lot of others were under the impression you would trade a single BM for 10 Epics as this is much more fair and how it should be, but I was disappointed to find out that you get a measly 2 godlies for trading the equivalent of 25!! It isn't even worth it to trade in my duplicates and a lot of others feel the same way. Please make it either 10 godlies (Making it a 5/2 trade in which is what everyone thought it would be) or 10 epics for 1 like everyone thought it would be!

 

I don't wanna have to wait to get my 6th Adventurers hat to scrap them smh

Guys... The idea of crates and cosmetics isn't that you gotta get them all.

 

Wait... oh, Epics are two tiers below Black Markets, oof. I thought it was 1 tier... yeah, I'll vote yes.

 

I thought it was 1 BM for 10 Epics when the change log dropped, making you loose 3/5s of a BM each time. This seemed fair because it’d take 3 BMs to get a new one just from scrapping alone. Having to get 5 unwanted/duped BMs is kinda rough, but with T4 Crates supposedly yielding Epics/Godlies/Black Markets at a higher rate it might not be as hard as it once was, but I’m gonna wait for some discounts/coupons before buying the 50 Crate pack

 

I said a big long thing then deleted it on accident lol sry. What I said was that using the argument that T4 gives more bms so they should scrap for less is a bit unfair, because in reality most people don't spend $20 on cosmetic crates, and even then you only get 2 of them. Having a loss of 3/5 bms is much more fair, hell even a loss of 4/5 is better, but scrapping 5 bms and getting back 2 godlies is insanely bad and even with the amount of duplicates I have I hesitate to scrap them for a value this damn bad.

The argument of "its just cosmetics" works both ways though, (why not make them rare/why not make them common) and how would this make you able to get them all? If you get 5 godlies you can get a bm, which is a fair trade. Going from 5 epics to a godly is also fair. 5 bms for 2 godlies is an insanely bad value, and even with a value of 5 bms for 2 bms you still have a good chance of getting duplicates and you still cant get them all without insane luck or spending more money.

 

i wasn’t going on that as a justification, more as a Devil’s Advocate; that might be what the Devs think and it’s something that can be seen more as time goes, but it’s not as helpful now with the update just dropping. I think it should still be at a loss of 3/5 BMs over 23/25, but the T4 crates’ returns are to be seen (On that point of crates, Champs should have gotten 2-3 Daily T2s or a daily T3 IMO)

 

Hard agree on that one, champ should get more or better crates daily

Apologies if my posts came off like that. Since Salted hasn’t responded to this post I figured I post what he’s said on discord, since I’m sure many people haven’t seen what he’s posted there. I also agree it should be raised and I had also expected the ratio to be 1 bm : 10 epics.

 

Sorry for being rude, I thought you were just trying to be toxic. I don't know why he is so against raising it but with how much of the community is clearly against how bad the rate is he has to be insane to ignore it completely.
