World Wynncraft Should Revert The Dialogue Options.

    With the old dialogue function, players are able to read at the pace they read at, instead of the text being too slow or too fast, and there's ACTUAL DIALOGUE. With characters speaking for themselves, 20% of the time they simply don't and the quest is bugged. You could walk away and go near the character, /kill, or redo certain steps, yes, but that shouldn't be happening in the first place. (I've made a report btw) During the Siegfried airship interaction, I've used the command /kill and /class twice, used the Ahmsord travel scroll 3 times, and he STILL isn't finishing the dialogue. Note that this is after I've given him the map.

    This also means that I don't have to wait for unreasonably lengthy pauses and unskippable dialogue. Seriously. No one like unskippable dialogue.

    I agree! The cutscenes are cool, but no one wants to see some character talk for 15+ sentences without giving the player the ability to skip the dialogue. Other than that, dialogue bugs will also be patched, as making a dialogue occur when something (this something being the hitbox of the selected character) is much easier than making a full-on animation.

    They should make the character walk faster when the player's nearby while they're at it
    The corkus tour is the worst

    I've been saying this for ages, this is one of my biggest peeves about the modern quests

    I don't mind the tour as much because at least you're doing something and seeing a new place

    Almost all the dialogue in HoG is skippable - there's a bug that broke a lot of quests ar the moment that we're working on fixing, which is the cause of the broken dialogue.
    I might have misunderstood this suggestion, though - if I did, I'd be glad to hear specific examples of what you mean so I could look into improving it!

    A dialogue bug that you should look into is where the player interacts with Siegfried---I and the 3 other players that I've met on the airships all claimed to be stuck on 2/4 of the dialogue. /kill, /class, /leave, and re-entering the ship didn't do anything. (You're supposed to give Siegfried a map to activate the dialogue, but when I click on him without one he starts talking and gets stuck on 2/4)

    We know about the bug, it's been reported many times and is caused by the same script halting issue as a lot of other quest bugs. As I said, we're working on fixing it.

    This is somewhat unrelated to the suggestion, but when you right-click an npc to advance to the next dialogue, it skips two pieces of dialogue at once, which i'm not really a fan of since it makes the dialogue really hard to read. Idk if this is a bug or not but I remember before 1.19 this never used to happen
