Why Was This Done?

So, I log on to see what the new update looks like, excited because it sounds really cool, to find out that morph amethyst has gone from a level 30ish bracelet to a level 87 piece of junk that I can no longer use on any of my characters even though I have 7 of them. It ruined all my builds that were relying on the morph set to keep them going, and is just really annoying in general since I wasted so much time, effort and emeralds on them. Morph isn't OP, nor is it underpowered. If order to use it you have to spread out your skill points, which can really harm your damage output and percentages. I just don't understand why this was necessary.

I would love to have my Amethyst back, but if I can't please at least explain it to me since I didn't see anything about it despite reading though the update log 3 times. If I can't please give me a suggestion for a replacement as well since I really don't have anything I can use at my level.

 

Item changes are kept track of in the item team thread, which is pinned in the main wynncraft forum.

 

Two of the morph set items were switched around to make the set more balanced for leveling which means amethyst had a level increase and one of the other pieces had a level decrease. As for morph as a whole, it kind of got a buff this update depending on how you look at it. Also, you're either in the early game or midgame at this point, you don't really need a solid build to beat everything easily anyways. If you're 30-50 use adventurers armor, otherwise just use whatever items you get from quests until you're in the 90-105 range and you can start making endgame builds.

do you know which one was switched in for Amethyst? I only have a couple pieces so I'll have to buy the new piece, and morph is expensive. I can't find it through threads. Also, adventure isn't strong enough for level 60 and I don't have enough quest armor. Mainly using random legendries I find. I am using an air archer currently, thinking of switching to water and using ultramarine when I reach level 65, but morph is the main way I get mana regen and stats to wear all my armor.

 

Morph build was just really too easy to use and op as hell,good thing they did that

It makes putting the pieces of the set on nicer since it's now 2 rings first instead of 1 ring then wait for pretty much the rest of the game to put the other on
