World Chat Message For /class [99.0% Approval - 99 Supporters]

i'm sure we're all tired of the "oops i afked in olux all my stuff is gone" threads.

there have been a lot of suggestions to make towns safe spots, which i think it is a fine solution, but it requires an investment of dev time,,,, so in other words it is never making it into the game.


however, since the game gives the average player no reason to believe that a town is not a safe zone, i think something should be done.

you know those tips that appear in chat, like the one about starred mobs the ingame trade market?

make one for /class.

something along the lines of how no area is truly safe and so if you are going to afk make sure to /class

it probably wouldn't fix the issue as the majority of the playerbase seems to be illiterate but hey. at least they can't fully blame the game anymore.

True safety sounds amazing, lets go for it.

 

This is a good idea. Simple. Effective. Clean. Saves the main sub forum from its weekly “I afked in x town and lost all my stuff” sob stories.

one thing I'm concert about is that players simply won't see them lol, idk if wynntils removes them, but I haven't seen one in a while.

 

It does (toggleable, removing them by default iirc)

 

Personally I am very against rejecting suggestions because “hee hoo wynntils doesn’t/does x” but that’s just me

 

do you know if wynntils redirects it or I just stay in guild chat to much lol?
