Website & Forums Start Giving Some Feedback On Suggestions

Very few general suggestions have been implemented.
I am fully aware of the fact that the vast majority of them aren't worth it. However, many threads have hundreds of supporters and tons of bumps, and yet are not implemented and have little to no feedback on them.
Giving feedback to popular suggestion threads would help people improve their suggestions and make people more want to help improve the game, as right now it really feels like staff just check this section once every month even though I know that's not true.

 

tbh how it works is that by seeing which suggestions are more popular they know how to keep building the game

 

would be poggers if suggestions with 100+ supporters got put on trello or smth

 

Honestly, depends.
Suggestions are valuable in a way, but something you have to keep in mind is our vision of the game, and the people making it are two different visions.
A lot of the time when making a game you have a specific goal for how the player should feel or play, however when someone makes a suggestion we are normally suggesting ways to make the game more ideal for us.

Don't get me wrong, I do wish suggestions would be added more or looked at more.
Ones that are basically purely a positive to the game do exist, and sometimes what a player suggests does line up with the creator's vision.
These kinds of suggestions don't happen insanely often and are normally smaller.
Bigger suggestions will be looked at, but not normally added exactly the way suggested because they are either change or entirely revisualized to better suit the game.

 

I know I and a lot of other CT members do lurk on this section and check out ideas. If you made a suggestion that's popular there's a good chance we've seen it!

 

Yeah I adknowledged this, I know you guys look at a lot of stuff, but it feels like you're ignoring it sometimes since there's suggestions with hundreds of supporters that have little to no feedback

 

again, this would be amazing. It would help CT sort out suggestions that people care about (so they don't have to waste time on stuff they don't care about/ppl have downvoted). also would get more feedback probs

 

My own personal reservation is as follows: many writers may interpret a "like" as it's going to get implemented simply because an admin liked it, when in reality that simply isn't true. Features/content getting implemented is typically a team decision.

Some suggestions may be thorough and as thorough as I think it should be, thus I think a comment is almost unnecessary (similar point as above, if I say "nice suggestion", the writer may interpret it as getting added into our game). Furthermore, I don't want to show favoritism towards any suggestion by saying "good" or "needs work".

Often if I have implemented something in-game or for our web platform that was inspired by a general suggestion, I'll add a comment and lock the thread.
