My Idea For A Temple Of The Legends Rework

(big spoilers ahead)
1. wanting a little bit of extra money does not make you a villain if everything you do to obtain it is completely legal
2. aledar literally gives you permission to sacrifice him, he knows it has to be done for the greater good
3. this god of the doguns you mention wants to kill literally every dwarf in existence, including children, and the people who were raised their entire lives being fed lies and brainwashed. not exactly a nice guy.
4. the dwarves and doguns all attack you first or are threatening the coalition, the people who are trying to stop the fighting.

the player is definitely not perfect, more in a gray area. for every debatably bad thing they do there are 10 more helpful, life-saving good things they do. even if you pick all the greedy options in fortune teller, aldorei valley, etc. you aren't really evil. I guess taking the bribe in iron heart part 2 is against the law, but I don't think it makes you a villain. there is no correct answer in an iron heart, you could pick the humane option, or the one that saves more lives. sacrifice a few to save the rest is not a favorable situation, but in some circumstances its that or everyone dies. I personally think taking the bribe is the wrong choice, but it is not all black and white. maybe as a compromise, since this new version of ToL is a choose your own path quest, the player could be given the choice to spare Rashyroth or kill him.

about dern being mentioned this early, I don't think it wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't mentioned by name and was very vague, like it was changed to. I think the big reveal that explains it clearly is good as it is in Wynnexcavation D. but that's all up to opinion, so its fine if you continue to think what you think.

 

otherwise coolant BUT
- I don't like how easy the Ragnar CoW battle is, it's practically a nerf. It should at least get a slight HP buff (110-120k?) and Mind Spike.
- I feel that the removal of the 6 quest reqs (not ice nations and creeper infiltration) is bad, it removes a part of how "important" the quest feels, and most players already have the items at that point.

I personally think that the current ToL is fine, but this would be much better, apart from the two points listed above.

 

My replies to both of them:
1. When you ask a Wynncraft Player if the Corrupter of Worlds is hard, they will either say it is easy or a terrifying super boss (I'm one of the people who think it is stupidly hard), and I kind of wanted to present the Corrupter of Worlds as a challenging, but still beatable boss to newer players, as it would kind of indirectly show the difficulty spike, and other players who thinks the CoW is easy will probably like a harder challenge.
2. As per the six Quest Items needed for the old TotL, I think a merchant in Troms would pay for the old Quest Items in exchange for some emeralds.
