Dialogue Errors Megathread

Heya! There's a lot of dialogue in Wynncraft, with quests, discoveries, dungeons, and other various places including it. The sheer amount of dialogue ingame makes it difficult to spot spelling or grammatical errors when they pop up, so we've made this thread to get reports of as many of them as possible.

If you find a line of dialogue that has a spelling or grammatical error in it, please report it here!

When replying to this thread, make sure to provide the following information:
1. The quest/discovery/dungeon the dialogue error is in.

1a. If the error is in a quest, the quest book stage in which the error appeared.​

2. An image of the dialogue line in which the error is.
3. A short description of the error.

There shouldn't be an apostrophe in "Twain's"

Troms (-843, -928)
Before doing Temple of the Legends

There shouldn't be a comma after "Legends"

Avos Village (-1833, -3081)

Human shouldn't be capitalized (?), missing a period in "..."

Relos (-1662, -2332)

Should be "c'mon" not "cmon"

Llevigar (-1856, -4510)

"seem" is misspelled as "seen"

Aldorei Valley (-617, 91, -4458)

Should be an apostrophe after "others"

Aldorei Valley (-447, 139, -4456)

Should be a comma after "however"
Should be an apostrophe after "others"
Should be "cannot, in good faith, let you through" (or "cannot let you through in good faith")

Cow Base (59, -9347)

Humanoids and Identify shouldn't be capitalized

 

if i am not mistaken i believe both of these should be ; however,

not 100% sure though i am almost failing english,,,

 

All of these have been fixed.

 

In the quest, flight in distress, Captain Ackbar says brig instead of bridge.

 

I think it's supposed to say brig, since that's another term for "ship"

uh...
should it? shortened for clarity, it's:
"There's a crack you should be able to use" vs. "There's a crack, you should be able to use"
which would seem to mean there shouldn't be a comma

but i could be wrong here, i'm not a grammar expert or anything

From Mixed Feelings, after you help the last citizen. The first one should say 1/6 and not 1/5.

All fixed, the Black Road one might be intended so I'm waiting for confirmation on that.

Seems to be correct grammar.

Error: "Gert's" should be "Gerts"

Quest: General's Orders
Quest Stage: also the first stage

Error: "his office on the left side" should be "his office is on the left side of the fort." (which should be a separate sentence as well)

Quest: The Envoy Part 1
Quest Stage: also the first stage

Error: An ellipsis has three dots, instead of two. (after "In fact") "If" should be all lowercase, as well

Quest: The Envoy Part 1
Quest Stage: After exiting the vents

Error: There should be a comma after "Sorry"

Quest: One Thousand Meters Under
Quest Stage: Fix the rope

Error: There should be a comma after "rope," and a period at the end

Quest: One Thousand Meters Under
Quest Stage: Survive the mobs as the bridge is being built

Error: There should be a period at the end

Quest: One Thousand Meters Under

Error: There should be a comma after "Rontaid"

(there are many, many more dialogue errors in this quest specifically, I only took screenshots of three of them)

 

While checking other dialogue, I found that words after an ellipsis pretty much always start with an uppercase letter. It seems somewhat strange, but still, appears to be the standard (I found 5 examples of this in the first few stages of ajb alone).

 

(Mostly) all fixed, except for the second- and third- last ones (they'll be fixed later, they're in command blocks - could you provide coords for what part of the quest those two were in?)
