World New Calss Idea- Scientist/mad Doctor

    I think there is now a broken balance with the shaman class added and Wynncraft could benefit from a new close range weapon-smithing user class. I propose the scientist class with his darker premuim counterpart- the mad doctor. The scientist would blend in the land of corkus and his brains will save him from any situation.
    The scientist's main weapon is their gears, wether its a screwdriver, a pipe wrench or a spanner- a true scientist will find a way to utilise it for combat.


    The stats for the scientist class are the following:
    Damage- 3/5
    Defence- 4/5
    Range- 2/5
    Spells- 5/5

    The scientist main spell costs 5 mana and called "Zap Spell". The zap spell will drop a mob-seeking lightning bolt from the sky- hitting hard and electrecuting enemies.

    Grade 1-
    Deals 175% natural damage and 20% thunder damage.

    Grade 2-
    Deals 230% natural damage, 25% thunder damage and with a new 5% air damage.
    +Electric Shock (lightning bolt now slows down mobs by 10% for 5 seconds).

    Grade 3-
    Deals 275% natural damage, 35% tunder damage 5% air damage.
    +The spell now costs 1 mana point less.
    Electric shock now freezes enemies for 5 seconds instead of slowing them down.
    +Blazing Ray (enemies struck by lightning will suffer a burning affect with 10% fire damage for an additional 5 seconds after the freeze is over.)

    For his second spell, the movement spell- the scientist brings his vehicle to help him get going. The "Joyride" spell that costs 3 mana puts the scientist in a freshly summond speedy minecart that drives him in a straight line for any given direction. (The minecart will be able to go on air too so if you're swimming you should be able to ride above the waves).

    Grade 1-
    You can travel for up to 25 blocks and shift to end the ride early. The minecart pushes mobs aside 2-5 blocks away from it.

    Grade 2-
    Minecart reach is increased to 30 blocks max.
    +Trampling (mobs caught on the way now take 100% natural damage and 15% earth damage).

    Grade 3-
    Max distance for the minecart is now 35 blocks, spell cost drops by 1.
    Trampling now deals 120% natural damage and 20% earth damage.
    +Crash (pressing shift to end the ride early now creates an explosion that deals 200% natural damage to nearby mobs and launches the player forward into the air).

    "Alchemy", the scientis't third spell makes him throw a glass receptacle on the ground- leaving an areal harming effect there for the cost of 7 mana points. When the player re-casts the spell, the existing potion pool dissapears.

    Grade 1-
    Mobs caught in the potion effect will suffer 200% natural damage per second. The affect stays for 10 seconds.

    Grade 2-
    +Medical Prescription (pressing shift while casting the spell turns it into a healing potion effect, regenerating the player and his pals 7% of their max health per second).

    Grade 3-
    The effect radius increases by 2 blocks and lasts 15 seconds.
    +Dizlling Fumes (mobs within the harmful potion erea have a chance of getting confused and won't attack- similar to their behavior when you open a loot chest)

    When the scientist reaches lvl 31 he feels confident enough to bring his most valueable creation to the battlefield- his beloved robot. The "Metal Helper" that costs 10 mana summons a robotic companion to help him fight (but only one at a time).

    Grade 1-
    The robot has 20% of the player's max hp and it deals 75% natural damage.

    Grade 2-
    The robot's speed increased, its heatlh goes up to 25% max player's hp and he deals 125% natural damage.
    +Missle Launcher (the robot gains a projectile attack that deals an additional 200% natural damage to the nearest mob wich it shoots every 8 seconds)

    Grade 3-
    The robot reaches max heatlh at 35% of its owner's max hp and he deals 175% natural damage and 10% thunder damage.
    Missle Launcher now shoots the projectiles at double rate.
    +Crowd Control (if the nearest target is the one's the robot attacking normaly, the missle will go to the second nearest mob)

    main issue with what i read- never trust mob ai, that is why necromancer/summoner ideas always get shut down

    maybe instead a turret so that you don’t need to worry as much about the ai not functioning how you want.

    for some reason i feel like this is a reskin of another class suggestion I saw or smth (maybe repost or someone just using the format idl)

    to make it different it could only attack one mob or in a beam like mage but deal more damage. And maybe you need to hit mobs first so you can’t just afk with it.
