I know this might be a stretch and has probably been asked on multiple occasions, but is it possible to get an Oceanic Wynncraft Server?

I love Wynncraft, we all do, but playing on 100+ ping is kinda ruining the experience a-bit. EU got their own server (probably due to the amount of players from EU) which is great! However it would be nice to get a server in the Oceanic region that can cater to Australian/New Zealand players. I don't know the situation when it comes to running those types of servers, so I'm not going to beg or pester any staff member for it, but I think it would help increase player count in the Oceanic region, as this server is truly unique.

If this question/suggestion has already been purposed on multiple occasions, then forgive me, I have only just recently returned, so I'm outdated a-lot when it comes to these sort of things.

Again, stated above, I honestly I just think being able to play from Australia with below 50 ping would be awesome, so it would be sweet Christmas if this could be taken into consideration.

    Please and thank you.

    :)

I don't see why they couldn't if they did it for the EU

Mind you that the EU servers addition got reverted in favor of the use of proxies. See here for more info.

True, don't quote me on this, but maybe we also have to take into account how many players play from EU. It would be worth it for them to host an EU server considering it's a large region to cover, more players. I might be wrong about this, so again don't quote me on it, but those are my thoughts.

OH I see, maybe I should've read up on those posts before posting such suggestion. I mean even with the proxies, I'm still getting above 100+ ping on average.

I am playing from Europe and I have over 100ms ping too. So what? It is not that of a problem, you could have 250+

Not enough players from the Oceanic region active enough to warrant it (saying this as an Australian) from what I have seen. Everyone suffers from the Ping, I would love to have a better ping but it is still playable as is.

Yes I thought that was the case as I had stated in a previous quote, and yes the game is still playable, like I said in my original post, it would be nice, I also said I wouldn't beg for it.

Again as stated before, I said "I honestly I just think being able to play from Australia with below 50 ping would be awesome". There is no problem from me with no server being put in place. This was a mere suggestion. "I'm not going to beg or pester any staff member for it".

Yes it is very good, I'm not downplaying what the staff team has done, my respect is out fully for them on this.

It looks good, but living in Oceania, I have at least 210ms ping 24/7, so at certain times it's okay, but generally laggy.

I would rather have higher average ping than create a possible extra channel for a money drain to occur within the Wynncraft coffers.

I'm not saying it's a good idea, I'm just saying that the new system may not be as good as it seems at a glance.
