    ALRIGHTY. so this is sorta a joke and me being bored/ an actual idea but ik it can be done better. ANYWAYS


    New class - Grappler

    Stats:
    Def: 2/5
    Dmg: 2/5
    mobility: 5/5
    Spells: 3/5

    The class: You are equipped with a grappling hook at can pull you around at high speeds. The literal god of movement, this class is made to be amazing at moving around and AOE attacks

    Main attack: Right click your hook(like archer) to fire a bolt at a mob. range of hook is max of 30 blocks


    Spells:
    RLR - Grapple:
    Mana: 2(like assassin cast will always be 2, however it doesn't drain mana when being used)
    Throw your grapple at any wall or block to be pulled to that location. your grapple will pull for for 4 blocks per second. with a max range of 25 blocks
    lvl 1 mana: 2 - speedy - grapple now pulls you at 5 blocks per second.
    lvl 2 mana: 2 - hold - grab onto the surface you grappled to for 5 seconds.
    lvl 3 mana:2 - lightweight - after cast take no fall dmg for 10 seconds.

    RRR - Swing shot:
    mana: 4
    cast your grapple around a group of mobs in a three block area to temporarily bind them together. wherever the grapple lands is where the area is.
    lvl 1 mana: 5 - sharp: your grapple now will deal 40% of your main attack damage on cast
    lvl 2 mana: 5 - stun: mobs now receive blindness for 2 seconds
    lvl 3 mana: 5 - rang is now 4 blocks

    RLL - Glave:
    Mana: 7
    throw your grapple at enemies, your grapple pierces through 4 mobs and them pulls them directly to you. doing 150% of your main attack dmg
    lvl 1 mana: 6 - sharpness - shot now pierces through 6 mobs
    lvl 2 mana: 6 - rupture - grapple now deals 180%
    lvl 3 mana:6 - Boomerang - grapple now pulls them towards you, then shoves them back.

    RRL - Toss:
    mana: 8
    Swing your grapple around you knocking back mobs 6 blocks that are within 4 blocks of you
    lvl 1 mana: 9 - shockwave - mobs fly 5 blocks into the air when hit
    lvl 2: mana: 10 - bolster - gain resistance 1 for 10 seconds on cast
    lvl 3: mana: 11 - recall - recast for an additional time

    Issues:
    1. going out of border: grapple only pulls you to a max of 25 blocks high, so you cant go out of border, if you do your the idiot bc you die.

    2. block glitching: glitching into blocks can be an issue, however this issue already exists with mage so the movement targeting system will be like mages, if you cant grapple there it wont let you. This includes barrier blocks, it wont let you grapple to them

    3. Visuals: this would look like an arrow with a lead on it. to code this simply have an invisible slime ride the arrow and have the lead attached to the slime.

    4. combos: "how can you do spell combos?" well a good one i can think of is grappling to a wall using swing shot to bind them together, then using glave to pull them up to you, then using grapple again to come back down to safety. this inurn will pull mobs around damaging them, AND be great at AOE and movement.

    5. who do we need another movement class?: well its just my opinion but the only other movement oriented class is archer, and that class is more of a ranger than a movement.

    Reasons for this
    1. you are Spiderman
    2. It gives more movement variation to players as they can think outside the box when fighting, instead of a two dimensional arena, its three dimensional for them.
    3. This is a great exploration and discovering class as it is made to move around, so locating different things or running from place to place becomes much better.
    4. its a new class so new continent kek
    5. great at recon, since they can run in survey the area and run out.
    6. its fun

    Open to suggestions: im not a great class builder but ik a lot of ppl that talked to me abt a class that can move around a lot since being speedy is rlly fun. If any CT members like this I 100% encourage you to plagiarize this and use it, id rather see it in game than get credit for the idea. If you think something should change or i missed something tell me. Im not the best at classes so rlly this is just a concept.



    Now for the fun part:

    i was bored, and since finials left me with 4 brain cells left I was playing Attack on Titian simulator on roblox and went "i wanna do this is wynn" and here we are

    Hm, a few issues off the bat I see are
    1) Glave and (and to a lesser extent, toss) sound quite similar to the way Shaman's uproot and (aura, again, to a lesser extent) work. Except that Glave sounds worse. One of Shaman's issues is how well it does against large groups of mobs by Aura trapping, but is weaker against bosses (as a whole, not compared to other classes). I feel like you might have this issue with this class.
    2) Heavy movement-based classes are kind of OP in Wynn. As is often discussed when talking about walk speed, one of the best defense mechanisms is to just not be in the attack range of an enemy. If you're able to maneuver around the attacks of an enemy, especially just by staying way above them, the difficulty of the game suffers.
    3) While the environment around you always affects you on any class, I feel that the environment affects you to such a degree with this class that it suffers. Moreso in the fact that almost all boss rooms have to be re-looked at to make sure they're not cheeseable if you can just hang onto the wall for five seconds.

    These are the big 3 that come to the top of my head when reading this. It does sound like a fun and very creative... or maybe inspired is the right word... idea for a class. Would love to see this fleshed out if the idea is liked by (most likely the Admins).

    Make Grapple the second spell, beacuse that's always for movement, no expections.

    Yes, however this class is designed for that spell. like that's its main feature, id rather have ppl learn that first than the others

    Yeah you have some super good points. Im not sure how to fix them, maybe new spells would works overall? id just generally like to see a new movement based class. Maybe its like shaman where its really weak but its movement is fast.
