World Add Seller Name/additional Info To Trade Market Items

Proposal: Add information about the seller of the item to items on the trade market. Could be as little as their name, could be as detailed as name, guild, custom contact info, etc.

Reasoning: Easier to contact for negotiation, help spot market manipulation (maybe) (I know they could still use alts but at least it'd make it more annoying for people who are trying to screw with prices)

 

While I like the idea I think no cause the tax system is there to help slow the already out of control market inflation.

He seems to mean that, if the names of item sellers were displayed on items then people would opt in for buying the items in person rather than through the trade marcket leading to less emeralds being taxed. He seems to not be reffering to market manipulation.

 

I see, this makes sense.

Although I do think on some level people being lazy will help this not be as much of an issue, especially for things like ingredients or scrap; tax only really becomes significant (IMO) when you're dealing with mythics or the like and I think most people would just pay the 1 or 2 eb instead of trying to contact the guy who might not even be in the same timezone

basically the convenience is still a huge factor and paying an extra 3eb on a 1LE purchase doesn't sound like a huge? deal? personal opinion tho

Also of note it seems like people clearly want this kind of feature at least on some level, and are trying to work around this limitation (if you've ever seen shouts asking for "who's the owner of XXX on TM"), but this workaround costs real world money ...

There's also people with ranks putting crafted items into the trade marcket that have been signed by them and renamed to an advertisement eg:
Selling Discoverer
signed -Bob

 

I actually like the idea, but think it should probably be a toggle, as some people do not want to negotiate prices.

 

I think a system like this isnt in place mainly because of abuse, such as some popular member or a youtuber putting up an item for a high price and getting tons of money for doing nothing, similar to wwhat happens with Hypixel Skyblock

 

I would only want it implimented if what old mate here states is done.
