    Hello!
I am not usually very talkative, but I believe I may have an interesting idea for you all today.
(One that I would personally greatly enjoy playing with in the game.)

    My idea?
-- Class Specializations and More Abilities! --

So, for a while now I have been wanting more abilities for each class, but there is big problem to overcome for that to be even possible.

Currently, the method of "spell casting" consists of combining specific click-combinations on one's mouse. For example, clicking your right mouse button, then your left, then your right again would activate the Heal Spell you have access to by default if you were playing a Mage/Dark Wizard. Or, clicking your left mouse button, then your right, then your left again would activate your Arrow Storm Spell if you were playing an Archer/Hunter.

While this system works brilliantly, it obviously has its' limitations. Using this system, only 4 unique spells/abilities can exist. In other words, there are only 4 unique click-combinations possible using the aforementioned method, therefore greatly limiting the amount of unique spells/abilities that the player has access to.

So, to "fix" this without changing the current system of "spell casting, " we add groups or specializations that players can choose within their own classes.

This new system would consist of every class having a group of sub-classes or specializations that could be chosen or swapped by the player. Similar to Skill Points, the desired specialization could be chosen within the Character Info menu and could be swapped at any time, but would cost 2 soul points to discourage players from swapping specializations quickly and repeatedly "on the fly."

Using this system, each class maintains the first two spells that they have by default. For example, the Mage/Dark Wizard would maintain their Heal and Teleport Spells regardless of the chosen specialization. However, the last two spells would be linked and unique to the chosen specialization.

Here is a table that hopefully illustrates this concept clearly:
(Apologies for the lack of "cool" and unique names. Such things are not really my "strong points")

    upload_2020-11-25_0-51-4.png
This would double the amount of unique "spells" that each class has access to.

Perhaps each specialization could also be focused around a specific combination of certain elements and their functions and/or damage? Or, maybe when the player reaches a certain level they receive a passive effect or ability that is unique to the chosen specialization?

Overall, I would deeply enjoy this personally because I feel that this system could vastly improve the amount of specialization, customization, and uniqueness of each player's character and play style. This could perhaps make gameplay feel much deeper and far more engaging.

Well, that is all for now!
Any constructive criticism is very welcome!

Thank you for your time, have a great day, and God Bless,
    - GangstaEarLobe (IGN: ShyAdvocate)

YES! YES YES YES YES! I love it!!! plus there is also shifting while doing a spell, something that Warriors Uppercut, Shamans Uproot, Archers Escape, Mages Teleport use to slightly alter the spells ability. Add a poll and I APROVE, having only 4 spells that only level up to 66 is quite bland. These spells should hopefully unlock past 66 too and they should be be able to be switched out the same as skill points

Wonderful idea. I aswell had thought of something similar earlier before, but never had the will and inspiration to execute such an idea.

Please add a Pole. I think the idea is great but need some changes, The current system of having only 4 spells is kinda cool and works well (its not complicated to understand and dont need any keybinding) So I dont think adding more spells than four is a good thing but what could be great and add diversity is to change current spell depending of the spec you choose, let me explain how it could work.

Ok so lets say you take an archer, you still have arrow storm and escape spell but at lv21 you have to choose one of the 3 specs like (Bomber ; Windbreaker ; Executioner) so the 3rd spell of Bomber spec will be the current Bomb spell but the 4th one is replaced by something that fits better with the Bomber spec, like an incendiary arrow or a buff spell that grants +300% explosion to your weapons for 30sec. The Windbreaker will get the arrow shield for the 4th spell but again gets something that fits with the spec to replace bomb spell and the Executioner gets his own spells considering that Bomb and Arrow shield are already used by the 2 other spec. With this system players could get diversity and try different styles of gameplay while still having 4 spells and of course devs could add more spec later to create more content. I think this is the perfect way to do it if we want to still have the easy spell casting of Wynncraft and more spells added to the game.

Well, unlike the majority of class ideas, especially new class ideas, this is an idea I myself can approve of, so that's a +1 from me, though, i do think that being able to switch specialisation should be more than just 2 soul points, otherwise, loads of people, especially those who are high level would be able to switch up specialisations without much risk of losing too many items, so i would suggest that the class specialisation is a bit more costly, and perhaps only available after doing a particular quest, maybe around level 50 - 70, and until that point you have the standard spells?

I dunno, just what i think might improve it a little, obviously if you don't like it, you don't have to include it in the final concept, though i do think that more abilities and branches to all classes would be an amazing addition. Well done.

I think this should only become available from lvl 70+ so that you learn the base four spells for each class. Then I'd suggest having a quest to be able to change specs. Other than that, it is quite hard actually creating spells that are balanced so a huge quantity of new spells would be pretty difficult.

The idea I personally had but never wrote down was having a spec that modified the base spells e.g. Ice meteor or Ice wall rather than Meteor or Ice Snake, etc. This would make it so that the dev/c team don't need to think of as many new ideas.

Well I love your idea and would totally like seeing this ingame. I was acually thinking of something similar, but with class specialisation at lvl 20. But your idea is pretty unique too
