How Do I Get Mythics

    I've heard that mythics are craftable, or you get them as loot, or both. can anyone give me a solid answer on this? i would like to start farming for it asap!

    I am pretty sure mythics are not craftable, and you get them as an extremely rare drop from mobs or loot chests (about 7/1000000 chance for a mythic to drop from a mob)

    Mythics are extremely rare drops from mobs, or slightly more likely to be found in chests. The most common way to get them is through loot running (using loot quality and loot bonus gear and following a set route of loot chests). In the next update there will be a change to get hem from doing corrupted dungeons.

    When people say that mythics are craftable, they mean that you are able to craft items with stats which are on par or above mythics.

    All jokes aside, I'd recommend lootrunning in the Silent Expanse with 40%+ loot quality and a healthy amount of loot bonus. There is a 7/1,000,000 chance of getting one without loot quality, so don't expect to just find them by the dozen. However, if you lootrun often enough and hit enough chests, you should find one eventually. I believe the commonly quoted number is that you find one every ~1500 chests or so.

    EDIT: I have been informed I greatly overestimate the odds of finding a mythic and the actual number of chests is much higher on average.

    Mythics aren't craftable per se, the reason why they're called "Crafted Mythics" is because their damage output is similiar to weapons of that tier, coupled with the fact that weapon crafting tends to be quite versatile in what identifications you can have on your weapons.

    To actually get Mythics, you need to get a drop against jackpot levels of odds (7/999999, or 1/142587) - you can get better odds at a Mythic item with Loot Quality. There's also a feature for the upcoming 1.20 update - the Forgery Chest - that can potentially give Mythics for completing corrupted dungeons.

    You're most likely to find Apocalypse, Aftershock, Hero, Galleon, Crusade Sabatons, Resurgence and maybe Discoverer (from T3 chests only).

    It's indeed recommended to run mid-90s, since some of the better items are at 92-96 or 96-100 range.

    There are two ways of getting mythics
    You quit your job and start lootrunning for a living
    or
    You win the lottery

    Both are a pain unless you really want some virtual emeralds or you just enjoy opening the same 40 chests over and over so choose carefully
