World In-game Titles

Short suggestion here,

I think it would be a really cool idea to create in-game titles; ex:

[103/115/As/ReA] [VIP+] [Cow Slayer] GrumpsMo

To get titles, it would achieved by achievements in-game so like the example I did in my example "Cow Slayer", would to achieved by beating the Bovine Barn boss alter.

The same could be done with discoveries, ex:

[Wynn Explorer]
[Winter Discover]
[Desert Explorer]

Purpose you may ask?

It would give a reason for players to do these challenges that would normally not interest them and would reward players if they were to do them.

(PS: Names do not have to be exactly the same as the ones in the thread, these are just examples, I'm terrible at naming)

 

Might be interesting, I think that you can't over bloat the name and level of a player and adding a title to their name is a bit unnecessary. I don't think the game needs achievements but, you never know, they may be added in. Titles could well get added

I like the idea but I don't think they should be added to the chat. If anything, they should be displayed above the player, beneath his name.

 

Would rather have it beneath their head like @Vierdant said. Chat names are already too cluttered.

 

I'm pretty sure the title system is already in the game. I saw that the moderators in-game have a title saying "Wynncraft Mod"
So adding that shouldn't be a problem. And I think it will even be kind of interesting.

That's a Wynntils thing, not a Wynncraft thing.

 

Oh I realize that now, my bad. But my point is still valid, the technology already exists. You know, how the health bar displays above the head. It's the same thing.

They can use that to display the title there at all times.

Well.. I have seen CT members have special tags in the past and I don't use wynntils so...
What I can assume is that they either gave it to themselves or they act as rewards for getting enough ''karma points'' (a point system used in the build servers to incentivise work)
