Website & Forums Allow Us To Delete Thread Polls

Sometimes when you do suggestions you get a lot of feedback and feel the need to change up some of your thread. If your thread has even slightly specific polls, or just your idea changes a reasonable amount, your poll may no longer be accurate or relevant to your thread. Obviously being able to change the answers of a poll would be bad because then if the votes stayed you could change what people voted for.

To make this easier, I think you should simply be able to delete a poll on your thread. Then you would be able to create a new, fresh poll after the changes in your thread.

Note: I'm not even sure if XenForo allows this. If it's not possible within XenForo, feel free to lock this thread whoever has proper authority to and knows if it is or is not possible. I know it definitely didn't used to be possible, but based on some XenForo threads I looked at, I believe it is possible now. /shrug

 

agreed but somewhere kinda hidden should be the prior poll, people who have a poll turned against them will delete it and obs we don't want that

 

I think the idea behind this is to prevent threads from becoming too big (look at some old art or guild threads) the first page of comments have nothing to do with the thread anymore and it becomes confusing for newcomers to the thread
