Wynncraft 1.0 Remake

Petition for wynncraft remake? Even though the map is far inferior, it would be super nice to see the oldest wynncraft version to date, especially for all the og players in the back.

I agree, the current map is technically already a remake, everything is improved except for some map changes.

 

If you mean allowing us to play on version 1.0:
- why not suggest a separate server so we are not forced to play on it
- This has been suggested many times and I thin I geard they don't have the needed files

If you mean remake the game:

this would be cool but nobody would use it and it would get closed because it's a waste of money to run

 

As someone who’s been here since before Gavel, I don’t understand why anyone wants to replay Wynncraft when it first started. Nostalgia is one thing, but that doesn’t justify that Wynncraft was almost objectively a worse game in every aspect. The intense grind, lack of quantity and quality of quests (*cough* fetch quests), less and mediocre dungeons, little to no lore, no discoveries, no build types and customization, lower level cap, no boss altars, no shaman, no guilds, no professions, and only the province of Wynn and a few islands.

Wynncraft just like any other game isn’t perfect, but I doubt anyone who’s played old and new Wynncraft would say that Wynncraft hasn’t improved. The only reasons I’ve heard for why people prefer old Wynncraft is that the item system is less complicated, pvp is actually feasible, and people like to grind. But A) You can get through most of the game without being an expert in build making, B) Wynncraft was still never about PvP and if you want good PvP you don’t go to an MMO out of all places. It’s like asking for a Pad Thai at a Chipotle. You can find way better pvp at many other servers. And C) If you love to grind just do professions. They’re even somehow more grindy than old Wynncraft.

 

I personally enjoyed Wynncraft the most before Gavel was released. The item system kinda turned me off, especially Mythics. Hate those things.
