Item Re-skin

Playing Wynncraft, I see many cool textures on my weapons, armor, tools and stuff. I want to switch some textures for others, though. Because some people won't like if their glowing sword made of light turned into rotting wood, I propose a shop NPC for this, maybe called a Painter, or another option in the blacksmith menu. They change the texture of your items - and your items only - without modifying the statistics, for Emeralds or even some kind of paint. This way, we can all enjoy our favorite textures.

But I'm thinking that might be too nice, so it could be a rank-exclusive feature, or use something from crates, or maybe be accessible in only one area. I don't know, I just came up with this.

I disagree because I like having the weapons in the hotbar look like what you're carrying. Additionally you can find out what weapon others have by looking at it usually, I would be against this personally but as it's a rank only bonus I wouldn't be surprised if the Wynncraft team added it. If only to try to get more people to purchase a rank

 

There are special item textures in some crates, but I'm not sure how they work...

 

When you open a crate there is a chance to get a weapon skin. From there you can enable it, and your weapon will look different.
