So to start out I joined Wynncraft five years ago and have 1,950 hours on the game, I love this server and it has been a major part of my teen years/young adult life... I donated numerous times to the server and love how detailed the texture pack is, the extraordinarily intricate spell system, powder specials, and item identifications. That being said I wanted to suggest a possibility for another improvement.
Virtual Reality is an extremely rapidly growing industry (source) and I feel like it would bring a lot of attention to Wynn if it supported the platform as there are very few public servers that do so as it is, the Vivecraft plugin would NOT have any effect on non-VR gamers gameplay although I am unsure if it would cause a major difference in lag which is an important concern that should be looked into (I will look into it and update this thread with sources included in the next few days).
Java Minecraft has partial supported already however without the Vivecraft plugin would provide full support for this quickly expanding platform with little competition on other supported minecraft servers. Vivecraft would NOT exclusively support HTC Vive headset, it also would provide compatibility for the following commonly used SteamVR headsets:
    Supported Headsets with Vivecraft:
    Oculus Rift/Oculus rift S,
Oculus Quest/Oculus Quest 2 (with Virtual Desktop Installed)
HTC Vive/HTC Vive Pro/HTC Vive Cosmos
    Windows Mixed Reality HMD's
    Valve Index
    and more...

I mean, I imagine only a small % of people who play wynn, even have access to VR. I know I don't so at the end of the day, I don't really care, though I suppose it would be cool

I have played WynnVR before and it is very fun, the only real problem is that the items are held weird and that people can't tell what movements you are doing, because all of the hand movements are shown to other players as your head moving around rapidly.
But Other wise I think this should be worked a bit more, so the VR Experience on the server is a lot more enjoyable.

That is a good point, although VR has been growing as an industry, especially due to the corona virus, Valve Indexes are almost always out of stock, and the Oculus Quest 2 recently came out and has been getting a lot of attention.

Also you should check out the statistics I put in the thread if you have time or do a little research on VR's growth and predicted growth, it is actually pretty surprising.

How would controls work? Specifically spells and archer bow firing. I've also heard from other people before that multihit and wave are very bad for VR users.

That is a very good point actually, Wynn Expansion might be required for it so you can set macros for each spell. That is a major issue with the idea though, I agree. I'm just suggesting an option for players who have VR to be capable of running it.

But yeah I agree it would be a problem to have to install a separate mod (Wynn Expansion) to use VR. button combos are already on it but I also feel that isn't a adequate way to cast spells.
