    Man this change would be great, I feel like it would help players feel like they're working towards something as they level up when the game starts getting a bit grindier. +1 Support.

    Honestly I'd just love to see a rework/buff to the TOA since time has not done it well sadly

    Right because Death will just be so easy for new players at lv. 75 who've never played before and clearly they'll beat it easily mmhmm yep the high level is totally not meant to intimidate new players so they bring their friends so they can actually fight the boss, you might be skilled but people on their first playthrough aren't

    I really hope you're trolling because reading this made my head hurt

    You're underestimating and overestimating new players at the same time. Because of the absurd display level, many are led to believe it's an endgame challenge instead of something that's easily doable at 70-80. Sure, it's a gear check, but there's already a gear check in the form of CoW anyway.

    Wynn isn't some kind of complex game, it's stupidly easy to spam spells and beat all the available content (of which Death is not even close to the upper end of, even at level). Getting to Death is arguably harder than the actual bossfight lol
    If you're referring to the gear aspect, there's something called asking for gear advice on discord or maybe even learning a bit about items, which 99.999% of players don't do (and should do)

    I’m reading this and I feel like my experience as a assassin is wack in it of itself.

    Anyways, at a point (like 3 weeks ago lol) I was that lvl 75 player. I think the main problem I had was my mana regen sucked, defence non existent, and having the witch doctor sike me out with regening 50k of Death’s hp...

    Oh yeah and people telling me death was one of the worst match ups for assassin didn’t make anything better but gotta prove em wrong, aw man


    After a few days of prep I managed to beat death with a mainly mana regen, mana steal setup with a crap ton of heal pots.

    Ig what made it hard was getting slowed, thrown sickles at, and having to get in range to do actual dmg which he could rip out a multi hit that could send me to the moon and back. (fun times xd)


    However, the fact that death itself is on a floor claiming to be lvl 100 in terms of combat lvl and difficulty and yet ya can waltz in there, lvl 70 range and beat em up is just no good. Heck ya can even beat em way lower lvl if ya bring the right stuff.

    That said this is kinda understandable since TOA as a whole is rather old at this point. As such it’s mechanics need to be changed around to either fit closer to the actual difficulty...or for the tower itself to get buffed.

    For example let’s take Bob. Back in the day Bob like death were complete monsters, however over time both became considered easy as the previous “end game” was completely shifted up. Eventually (as of more recent), Bob was updated and is actually harder now.

    Like seriously I went in with better gear then my death fight and as soon as easy mode pots ran out (we were trying to get my friend a sealed approval since I accidentally did too much dmg, hence not letting one drop the first time) and damn it had some nice regen in its final phase. That said, Death is supposed to come after Bob so ya think It’d make sense to buff death as well but I guess not

    sorry if I make little sense, mornings aren’t my thing xd

    honestly I think what would make death all the more harder would be to just have 2 phases at minimum. One where he’s ranged like usual, tho the other boss spawn rates and death’s actual regen is increased, and then have a phase where he’s like the COW. Like seriously he has a really powerful multi hit attack already so get death in ur face where they can multi hit ya at any time (tho ya gotta make sure his knock back is practically 0)

    you could also go about buffing their HP way up and the dmg Desth does to scale with other bosses around the ‘supposed’ lvl range, however I think at that point it’d be worth just buffing the tower as a whole, (loot and stuff adjusted if need be ofc)

    Yeah, the Death fight is annoying as an assassin. I'd recommend just changing the signs in the tower itself to fitting levels. The boss levels could be reduced but they don't really need to, because lv. 150 is obviously ostentatious and because players can't be lv. 150, it's quite obvious it's just for intimidation. This could work really well if the sign for Floor 7 (for example) was lv 70-75, and you still had Death at lv. 150, so people would go, "Well, clearly, this is meant to be fought at lv. 70-75, but it's going to be challenging."

    I totally agree with this suggestion here, because it's a mechanic that you see in a lot of games and a mechanic that actually does make sense, as long as you are clearly indicated that, regardless of the monster level, you are indeed meant to fight him at your current level range.

    This is a sort of repost because the last paragraph of my previous long post was overly aggressive and I got permission to repost, I'm just going to make this short.
    Every single new player I've seen before, whether on YouTube or my friends have lots of trouble with CoW. Death is considerably harder so clearly they're not going to just breeze past Death. Wynn doesn't have be a complex game to be difficult. You can't just sit there and spam spells and expect to win unless you have teammates or a good set of gear. Most new players won't know what to put their skill points into and just as you said yourself, never bother to ask. So what's the other option? Getting teammates. The high level is meant to intimidate new players into bringing friends with them (which they should), because if many new players are having trouble with CoW, a complete joke of a boss, they're probably not going to beat Death just like that, at least not by themselves (even one teammate trivializes bosses). Read my suggestion above about the tower levels and come back to this for what I think is the right way to do things. The sentence I wrote was typed hastily so I'm sorry you had trouble reading it.

    You are telling them they are are not supposed to beat it on lv. 75 but in tze endgame...

    What? Did you read my previous post which says the sign for Floor 7 should be lv. 70-75 but the level of Death should be lv. 150? This is so that they know it's supposed to be done at 70-75 but also know it's a challenge. Lv. 150 is stupidly high and I'm fairly certain they'd know players can't actually reach that level.
    Edit: Even if they didn't know lv. 150 wasn't achievable by players, they'd clearly see the sign that says "Floor 7: Levels 70-75" and realize.
