World Remove Profession Levels

    There are reasons that they made professions, and I believe that doing professions while leveling up combat level is what they want to see players doing.
    Right now the community has a quite negative point of view on professions because of it being too grindy and tedious. So adding quests that are somewhat related to profs (remember, I said that give xp to the corresponding profs too!) could encourage people to do profs as it becomes not-so-tedious.
    Yes you are right, quests about them are forcing people to do profs. However this is one of the features in the game (which is added recently), they can't just do nothing about it and let it being grindy as usual.

    And that is why I agree with the different resource nodes proposed by Nova, because what he mentioned could actually make it less grindy, but it is still kinda brainless and take ages when you are level 100 or something. Also there is nothing wrong for it imo, because there aren't any prof-related content, making it seems irrelevant in the game.

    You can do endgame profs if you have gathering level 90, but I guess most people has a combat level 100 class to begin with (before 1.18).
    You can't farm stuff that are higher than your level range, for example you can't gather Avo wood at woodcutting level 20.
    At least allowing players can farm high level materials at low gathering levels could save a lot of time, for people who just want to craft stuff.
    (One of the links in my signature showed how many you need to craft to level up by 10, and I believe that the crafting materials requirements will be wayyyy less than the number of materials you gather.)

    I dont know if everything about this suggestion is good but something has to change about professions. They are: Grindy, Broing, and have no place in the game for the average player. It needs to get less grindy. Professions should be a part of the game and the progess trough Wynn and Gavel, it shouldnt be the whole game.

    As long as profs are grind (at least not more than combat level currently is) I refuse to accept profs as core parts of the game.

    Also, then what is the point of normal (identifyable) items? If players are encouraged to craft, why are there here?

    Look at games like Skyrim. (The game is broken at some points but..) Crafting is an essential part of the game. You dont have to craft but if you want you can do it without wasting hundrets and hundrets of hours.

    Crafted items still has durability (which works like shit imo) and your 300 dura piece of armor can get to 0 in 3 minutes if you kept getting hit.
    They are stronger but still, having an armor piece that needs constant scrapping and repairing is quite annoying tbh.

    And, you can't really use tanky items unless they got like 400 dura or so, since durability goes down by 1 in 2-3 hits.

    Then crafteds are impractical and should not be core part of the game
