Hey Gamers,

Currently the support on Wynncrafts side to support Twitch streams that feature wynncraft content is lacking! Lets change that!

Introduction/Background
Many MMO's have a large part of the playerbase that watch streamers play the game, games well known for their tightly knit connection to Twitch include but are not limited to:
- World of Warcraft
- Black Desert Online
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Runescape (both os and 3)
- Eve Online
etc...
When a game is picked up by a bunch of streamers This results in a noticable bump in trafic for the game most of the time. See the launch of Wow classic as a relevant example. This kind of increase in trafic is all due to the great discoverability that Twitch provides; "Hey you watched this streamer playing MMO A, here is a streamer that is playing MMO B that you might like." For this discovery to take place we need propper infrastructure.

Wynncraft on Twitch
Currently, most Wynncraft streamers that just turn on their stream without inviting their whole friendgroup or guild get almost no natural trafic. Why? I think its mostly because if you want to watch a Wynncraft stream you have to go to Twitch on your own, you have to search for "Wynncraft" and pray to Saltud that there is a streamer on the platform that put Wynncraft in their title. Besides that, you used to be able to shout your twitch streams, but this has been removed, making it even more impossible to find streams.

Suggestions
1. Since very recently a Wynncraft category on Twitch has popped up: Admins, you should have the power to add an image to the category. Other then that, promote it! Currently only 26 people are following this category
2. Infrastructure: Promote Twitch streamers as much as youtubers. Make place for them in the highlights box or even better: give them their own little box on the website. Streamers that regularly play the game should be awarded for the reasons mentioned in the introduction.

Meh the players that come with big yt or streamers are usually young and annoying.

 

Personally I dont really care about attracting big variety streamers to the game so they can get a couple hours of content. This suggestion is more to support a group of smaller streamers that play the game with dedication and help them find an audience.
