People who are thinking that saying yes to the vote makes them messed up or whatever, are snowflakes. Obvious joke but i guess some people cant sense that
I can't show my idea on how the inventory viewer and the setup viewer would look because i can do VFX but I will explain as best as i can.

You WILL see exactly what armor and what they have in their inventory by basically viewing their inventory. This will show basically exactly how your own inventory looks when you are playing the game normally, but instead you will see theirs. There will be a button to click on, so you can see their overall stats such as mana regen, poison etc. and you will see what they have put skill points into. This way you cannot say, "oh no! thats not fair! i didnt see you had toxo and thats just cheese!" because its just your own fault for double checking.

In regards to poison, they can simply do what they did to thorns/reflection and make it only deal half damage or even less seeing as its "the only viable option" as many of you have pointed out. If they add this it will lead into more people doing PvP than the "10%" of people that do it. That means more updates for PvP and items for us.

Dont go attacking people in support of this idea. They didnt propose it, I did.

EDIT: forgot to mention the betting side of it, you arent forced to bet anything. Its just an additional option for people who want that reward or excitement from dueling. You will see how much they are betting and you can put your own amount of money that you are willing to bet; it doesnt need to be equal. e.g Toxo "abusers" can bet 10 stx and vs a lvl 3 warrior who obviously wont want to bet 10 stx against him. OBVIOUS exageration but i hope you understand what i mean from that

So nobody even mentioned this before lol, if you can actually see others' inventory then it is fine for me

Also there is an alternate gamemode in warframe (if you played it before) which ALL of the gears are balanced out (so you dont one bodyshot kill people with a rifle or your melee) or NOT ALLOWED in the PvP arena. It is still kind of shit in this state, but at least it is a lot better than "agi or die". If they would rework pvp like this, it would look cool.

Still though, if they are adding this, a lot of coding is still needed. And once again, if they have the time to do this, they should have done something more meaningful to the game.

I really don’t understand why this should be a feature when other people have already pointed out that you can just simply trade after the duel... It seems like a nothing sandwich if you’re not even forced to bet anything to begin with. So what’s the difference then between this and just doing that?

 

Because then the opponent could decide not to trade them

That is the only valid argument I saw
