Wynn is an MMO, but actual meaningful interactions with other players are pretty scarce as people are spread out across a huge map and a ton of servers. So let's try to change that.
Idea: Public Events - essentially a beefed up Boss Altar that uses the concept of warring terrs/war servers to bring players together across multiple servers to fight a big boss for epic lewt and xp, then kicking them back to their home servers when it's done and they've collected their loot. (If you've played D2, you'll know where the name comes from).
So let's talk about how this would work.
First: there'd be a notification nearby players would get and an indicator on wynn's map that says that a public event boss would be spawning in x minutes in x territory. They wouldn't spawn in towns ofc.
Second: players from across all of wynn's servers would file into the territory in question, and opt-in to the public event (either by interacting with something or interacting with a chat prompt). When there, they'd wait for the timer to tick down, then they'd be pulled into the bossfight server (whether it'd be a copy of the territory like a war server, or a boss arena, I'm not sure).
Third: the players would all go to attack the boss. Now, ideally, instead of just scaling stats up to match the number of people in the instance, there'd be a different boss that drops different loot if there was 1-3 players compared to 10-15, but that'd be a lot of work. Anyways, you'd fight the boss and hopefully wynn the fight. If you do wynn, you'd be rewarded with a bunch of fireworks and a chest to open that contains your loot. Loot that would be based on rng and would be more emeralds and gear than xp (so dungeons can have their niche as the big xp farms and there'd be a more pve-based alternative to lootrunning. Behind the loot chest would be a portal/rift that would take the players back to the server they came from (though only if the chest has been opened, and it automagically kicks the players out x minutes after the boss being killed).

I'm hesitant to make any decisions on the loot side of things, as it seems that lootrunning is meant to be the best way to get mythics/legendaires, period. However, lootrunning is really only worthwhile once you get access to loot quality, which requires you to be over level 100 - a considerable barrier to entry, so I was thinking that public events would be found starting around lv 20-30ish, after the player's probably seen a dungeon or two, and they'd be a good, though not dependable, due to the random nature of the events spawning, source of tradable random-drop rares, legendaries, mythics (though extremely rarely), and emeralds.
Also, more players = harder boss = better loot. Perhaps having guildmates in the encounter with you could be incentivized in some way...?

Lag would be a problem when stuffing so many players into 1 server, fps is another problem.
There will likely be more than 50 players fighting the boss at one point, so the lag is prob gonna be even worse than the eye.
Also can you make an example of a "boss"?
Like what abilities might it have?

Yes, we crashed 2 servers with ~47 and 35~ players.
On the other side The Eye is heavy on scripting etc. (all the spells)

You actually don't need to bring everyone to the same world, instead, everyone could be on their own world and the boss HP be shared between them ^^

Interesting idea, but dungeon parties already exist (Large group events do exist). These would probably be similar, but maybe a bit more varied and interesting. Sounds good

    Also, add a poll

There's already a big suggestion for bosses that have already been listed. Field and World bosses, by @Novalescent. It's a good idea though.
EDIT:wait why am I getting likes

Yeah, I read his post after I posted this and I think it would be really, really cool. That video was pretty amazing lol, exactly what I'd want to see.
I think that my idea also has a space in between field and world/raid bosses. I was originally thinking of something basically exactly like a field/world boss, but I worried that they'd be largely ignored if you're not in a party specifically hunting for them due to thin population in mid-high level areas.
