Mailboxes

I saw someone else post something similar to this, however I feel like this would be less complicated.

In the banks there could be something inside your ender chest that you could click to get to the Mailbox menu. What you'll see next is the playerheads of people on your friends list, there can be multiple pages if you have many friends. You click a friend and then you can see their mailbox. In this mailbox it's essentially a chest you share with your friend and can use to trade when you either aren't near each other or the friend isn't online. You can only see what you or your friend puts in that mailbox. There could be an alert for when you have mail such as whenever you get in your ender chest the icon you click to access the mailboxes if it's a flag it'll be up, or if it's a clay block it could turn red instead of green.

 

That is against the rules. This would be unfair advantage for players with rank

I think it would be a bit better if it was,
A: A NPC that would be more like a postman, and that it would be only in major cities, it would also make it rather clear, as to the purpose that is.
B: To have the ability to search for people who are not on the Friend-List, so that people can use it for the shop on the forums and Mythic trades...
C: (This one is really only an idea and it has some problems...)
That you could set a "Private" price for a trade so that people can Sell items without worrying about being cheated. (EG Mythic for Le trades.)

 

I'd prefer it if it was just a command like:

"/mail [username] [message]"

And you can log on and do:

"/mailbox" or something like that

And you can read your messages from other players. I feel like adding a whole new game mechanic for this is unecessary, the same thing could be achieved with the addition of 2 simple commands.

I know wynncraft doesn't really like using commands, they prefer in-game objects with GUIs and such, but for this specific idea, I think it would just be better as a command

 

I think as a command it would be more difficult to implement if I'm being honest. They'd need to make it similar to /class except you don't get teleported. I don't think there are any commands that can open a separate inventory, so I think the easiest way to do this would be to have an inventory already there; i.e. inside the enderchest mechanics, or as someone already posted above an NPC postman.

 

I think you misunderstood

I'm not suggesting there be a command to open a GUI, I'm suggesting a command similar to /message, except it can be sent to offline players and checked later
