My suggestion is for the Wynncraft map (https://map.wynncraft.com/) to allow for a change to Top Down viewing, as seen in the Wynndata Map (https://www.wynndata.tk/map/) made by @dukioooo

I believe that while the current Map may allow for better distinction of Buildings and land formations than a Top Down view, when it comes to navigation, half of the time the current Wynncraft Map is completely useless. This is one of the reasons why the Wynndata map is so highly held and used when there is already an Official Map. The only issue is that while the Official Wynncraft map allows for things like Player Tracking and Pins, the Wynndata one cannot (Player Tracking is possible with the Wynntils mod installed, but that obviously will not apply to every player)

Areas like the Canyon of the Lost or the Jungle are completely un-navigable with the current Map limiting our view to exclusively angled, and those are only the extreme examples. I think navigation would become much easier map-wide with this implementation.
If you need further proof, please take a look at the below examples.
    Dernel Jungle

    Rymek Canyon

    Rymek Mesa

    Canyon of the Lost

    Light Forest

This of course would not replace the current angled view, but I think the option should be there to switch if the player so chooses.

I know right. I thought my map was glitched when I first noticed that the quest symbols on the map were gone.

This would take barely any effort from them. they seem to use dynmap, which has top down as an option

The existance of third party tools and mods doesn't justify the shortcomings of the original product
Optifine is great yes, but it doesn't justify Minecraft's terrible optimization
Wynntils is great yes, but it doesn't justify Wynncraft's lack of some QoL stuff
Wynndata's map is great yes, but it doesn't justify the official one being inferior

Personally I am not really a fan of the maps because exploring the world yourself is one of the most important thing while playing wynn... but a lot of people need QoL I understand that so why not adding it xD

For real though, you cant even see areas surrounded with mountains which is really inconvenient if it is a map

That would make a lot easier for the general public to view content that's not supposed to be revealed.

But would you rather the team be working on a nice update for us, or change the way the map looks, even though the map works well and is good enough for the purpose it was made for.
