So basically by reading the title, you canalready guess what i'm asking for..
My question is why crafted weapons deal less damage than mythics even though some of the crafted weapons deal more base damage

for example : i tested a crafted air dagger (541-610 air dmg) on wynndata and weathered (that has less base air dmg) with the same exact build except the weapon (of course) and surprisingly it dealt 2k less dmg on spins and 4k less dmg on multi-hit and smokebomb..

note that i added manually the +20% air dmg and +20 agility on the crafted build

Attack speed I'd guess; higher attack speeds have higher multipliers, so they do considerably more damage with spells even if the base damage is similar.

    Weapon speed multipliers

(note: this isn’t effected by attack speed tier id’s only the base weapon speed, unless you’re talking about melee dps)

to calculate average base damage: ((max damage + min damage)/2)*(attack speed multiplier)

the fact that it’s a spell spam build is exactly why it matters

    super slow attack speed

    super fast attack speed

My point in my post was that only the BASE weapon speed matters on an item when talking about spell damage, not attack speed ID’s

    Weathered Very fast attack speed

    Weathered super slow attack speed

    Weathered super fast attack speed

base speed stays the same, but I changed attack speed ID’s

notice that spell damage always stays the same, but melee damage changed as attack speed ID’s changes.

    hope this helps

All weapons are multiplied by their hits per second when they cast spells (roughly; I believe the numbers are a little off). That means that a very fast weapon with the same base damage as a slow weapon will do considerably more damage with spells.
The multipliers, according to Motoki's damage calculation thread (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/how-damage-is-calculated.176082/) are:
    Super fast: 4.3
    Very fast: 3.1
    Fast: 2.5
    Normal: 2.05
    Slow: 1.5
    Very slow: 0.83
    Super slow: 0.51

That means that if your weapon has the same base damage but has slow attack speed, you'd still have a difference of 1.6x between it and weathered, not even factoring in the bonus damage weathered has. Also, weathered required a lot of agility and has an agility bonus. If you didn't give your build the same amount of agility, you would do significantly less damage, which may also contribute to this.
