As I hunter myself I can say hunting just isn't that fun, although that might be largely affected by how bad I am at it, it's still just not that fun in it's current form. I had quit Wynncraft for a month or two after getting to like level 65 and although my friend kept trying to get me to play again I just didn't really want to. Then he told me about hunted, and I really loved the idea of it and my entire motivation for progressing was being able to hunt, and when I finally got there it was fun, for the first few hours then after that it was just a disappointment. You're just getting to someone in an open area getting close then hopefully one shotting them. You can't even hunt that much even if you did like it, cause it's very frowned upon to hunt when they'res no parties and I got a few threats that I would get banned because I randomly hunted whoever was gathering and that counts as harassment to some people, because of how the game is set up where most of the time when people are hunting without bombs it's cause they're trying to pass someone on the leaderboards. Also there's the problem of not killing bomb throwers, which further decreases who you can hunt if you even liked hunting. I came up with an idea of an alternative way hunting could be done that's similar to how I imagined hunting when I first came up with it, of course my idea is probably complete crap but I wanted to put it out there.

So imagine another version of hunting where you pay a decent amount of emeralds to be teleported into a very dense jungle, that has extremely boosted gathering speeds, but you drop all mats, and 50% of the exp you gathered while in the jungle, when killed and because you have to pay a lot to get into the jungle you'll have a lot of mats and exp on you a lot of the time, so because of this there will be a lot of people actively hunting you, because it's a very dense jungle, with like 4 blocks at most in between the trees it will be an actual game of stealth where you're trying to know when a hunter is coming to try to hide behind trees, and avoid them, if a hunter does hit you, you'll both be sent to an arena to fight, this would mean it would be based around actual skill when it's a 1v1 where both people know that they're about to fight. When someone is killed here they will drop all of their mats and 50% of their experience gathered in that session, which will be converted to emeralds at some rate that I have know I idea how much of, and will be given directly to the hunter who will be give the option each time they kill someone to also exit the jungle. To exit the jungle without combat you'll have to go to a large area in the center which teleports you out( It's large so that it's harder to camp the perimeters of the area) I think this version of hunting would be more exciting, cause you're actually in an intense came of hide n seek pretty much with some stuff on the line, and it's a game of skill to track people down then beat them in combat.

Yet again probably a really bad idea but I had to put it out there

Edit: Forgot to mention it but bombs also wouldn't work here so that no one is off limits to hunt

So the nether but it's professions
Doesn't seem very enticing to me tbh
Also, don't care about what people say when you hunt them, you have the right to kill anyone. No one is exempt from being hunted, sure, people won't like you, but that doesn't really matter. You're not breaking any rules. They're much more likely to break rules by harassing you to stop hunting them
