Changing A Gear-skin

This is the steampunk bow gear skin in Wynncraft: (Gotten from the thread showing all the cosmetic rewards)



As all the steampunk skins are, this is good, but not what I would imagine a 'steampunk bow' to look like. The Steampunk theme / genre usually is based around the concept of machines, yet there is nothing mechanical about this bow at all.

Thus I propose this gear skin be renamed and its design changed to 'Steampunk Crossbow' as Crossbows do have mechanical elements to them in real life and this can be expanded upon in Wynn, too. Gotten from google images, here are some ideas for looks:





Ultimately not a major change nor is it ground-breaking, but I think it would make the skin more unique and fit with its name better, additionally crossbows are cool and there is only a few models of them in the game.

 

Not sure how they would implement a crossbow and not make it look janky, but overall decent idea I guess

 

There already are crossbows though, can't get the image but there are two earth 'bows' that actually crossbows and they look fine, they could just copy and past that but remove the green and add the grey and golen colour scheme in its place.

 

3 earth bows, I believe.
Not a major issue (not an issue at all, to be honest), but I support the change.

 

Thank you for the correction, couldn't quite remember of the top of my head, idk it just seems to fit better as there is nothing about that bow that is mechanical at all, unlike a crossbow

Granted, but there is nothing fundamentally mechanical about the bow, the wire merely acts as the string and capacitors are pointless, whereas a cross bow has more mechanical features to it, making the skin actually make sense. I understand the Steampunk Dagger has no mechanical devices on it which is fair as how do you make a sword mechanical (same with the spear). The wand and relic at least make sense as they do have mechanical features on them and you could just argue that they are powered by electromagic, but the bow has always seemed odd to me as a cross bow has the same purpose of firing a bolt whereas it has mechanical elements and fits within universe, too.

I mean jokes aside, the steampunk weapons are good as they are, I just feel that the bow doesn't make sense and there is a way to make it actually fit in universe.
