Fabled effects are really cool, but you can't have them on crafted items. I feel that having them on crafted items could allow more choice in play style.

To craft a fabled item, you first need to be able to support it. Low level items cant have fabled effects. The level requirement is the combat requirement for the item the effect comes from, rounded down to the 10. (Ex. 36 to 30).

To get the effect on an item, you need a crafting material. You get these from scrapping a fabled item. Scrapping a fabled item will give you scrap + the item.

Fabled materials are applied when making the weapon like any other material. They don't affect durability, but you can only have one per item. You must put it on an item of the same type the effect came from.

    They're called "Major IDs".

I don't really like this idea personally, I feel like any item you make would be either far too broken or far too bad

    Also add yes/no poll

no poll, so that's not helpful.

But no, should not be able to make Major ID's, sorry. The items with these ID's have trades off because of the magic of: Balance

Balance will cease to exist if this suggestion comes to life.

Crafted items are already straddling the line between "balanced" and "absolutely busted", with certain Crafted item exclusive IDs like Loot Quality (and soon, probably Gathering Speed/XP as well) making them more than worth it. The reason I specifically mentioned Loot Quality is because in lootrunning, you're going to need every single drop of LQ to have better odds at finding a Mythic (which also led to a supply influx of Mythics).

Adding Major IDs to Crafted Items will further break the game, resulting in a very sudden and extreme power creep, and that's the last thing you want to happen in a game like Wynncraft.
Power creep is a problem with content additions, where the developers gradually add stronger and stronger items/mechanics to the game that invalidate the older and weaker ones. Power creep should not be achieved at all costs, as this causes the variety of strategies to die out and instead cause the meta to be dominated by OP shit that devs charge you for (looking at you, mobile game studios).

Also, you don't have a poll, but I'm guessing 99.9% of the players would say "none can do" anyway. Unless you want the balance of the game to be completely obliterated by power creep, then the best I can say is "if you insist".

I'm not quite sure what do you mean by the "fabled" effect?

    Major id's.
This would, as other people have pointed out, be extremely broken. Look at the items with major ids; most of them are either among the strongest items in the game (ignis, weathered, pure) or has some huge downside to it. Crafted items could potentially enforce a huge downside with an ingredient, but the customizability makes it hard to ensure that carries over to the finished product. If they could balance this though, I'd totally be in favor of it as a way to make crafting more interesting.
