During many quests when you die, you return to lusuco (which in most cases is very far from where you need to be to do the quest.) In a quest like A Journey Beyond, when you die escorting aledar you return to lusuco which is super annoying. Im guessing there is no way around this but if there is I really think it would improve the game a lot.

It isn't limited to Lusuco. The game respawns the player at the closest spawn point (usually a town), and if you're in an area far to the west of the main map, then Lusuco will be the closest.

Lusuco is actually toward the south - if you're toward the west, you'll usually respawn in either Iboju Village or Troms.

Sometimes, I think I know my directions in Wynncraft. And I usually do.
Corkus and Llevigar (and Olux if you count the far northwest as well) are more common—assuming, of course, the player has been to those locations.
