My Suggestion To Improve Relevance Of Proffesions

    Professions are not worth the insane amount of time they take, as they take ages and give only slightly better results, if any. Since the addition of the trade market, good gear is easily obtainable as emeralds are easy to get anyways. My suggestion is the give stat increases when you level up your profession skill, similar to the way hypixel skyblock does it. Now, im not sure the amount of stat increase, but Im sure that can be left for later.

    tldr: sry for text wall i did too much high word count essay. basically give stat increases for profession level up

    Lack of rewards isn't the problem though. They're actively unpleasant to do; it's a long, monotonous grind, during which there are no fun quests or exciting tasks to do to liven it up. The best you can get is either someone throwing a speed/dxp bomb or a mission to gather x number of items. Adding more rewards won't help with this.

    Stat increases would also be incredibly overpowered or just not worth it. There just isn't really a middle ground with professions. The rewards are already really good. The problem is, like mythics, most people see the grind required to get there and don't bother. It's not fun. And unlike mythics, there isn't an ability to just get lucky, nor is there the ability to just buy it.

    True. Maybe just make the xp requirement less? Or add more ways to make the proffesions xp easier to get (not just bombs, maybe like some bracelets, rings or an id that give like +profession speed.

    Gathering speed is actually an unobtainable ID that will most likely be added in the future
