Basically, the current War Scream is essentially never used. Nobody needs a Warrior Projectile, even though I really like it, lol

I think it would be pretty cool if War Scream was instead an AoE, with a hurtbox surrounding the warrior. It would do a lot of knockback, and would be used to knock away all enemies close to you if you're surrounded. The particles would stay the same, but instead of a projectile pattern, they would branch out from around you and knock mobs that come in contact with it.

Obviously, it would still give the buffs.

Maybe they could make it pull the mobs towards you if you cast while sneaking.

War Scream already has an AoE component independent from the projectile. However, its knockback is rather limited compared to the projectile.
And @StormDragon4's idea, I agree. It gives a toggle control that is basically Heavy Pull, allowing you to get up close and personal against ranged mobs that don't shotgun you to oblivion.
