World Class Idea : Void Bringer

There were multiple good ideas that i've incorporated or changed on the page. Thanks for the suggestions!

The Void Bringer. Caused by the natural forces of human. The name given to only those that have both light and darkness inside of them. Under normal circumstances most children are born with an element of light inside of them which is now known as Mana. Under special circumstances there are children born with Darkness inside of them, nobody knows how it happens, the darkness chooses its victims, leeching at the poor souls. Those who had the will and vitality were able to survive and keep their life. Others on the other hand, died to insanity.

The lore imo has to stay away from any mention of the player, and more on the origin story.

 

Needs alot of work balance wise but concept wise looks really freaking cool

Thank you, im aware of the balance issue. This class still needs a lot of work, the concept popped up in my head so i wanted to write it out before i forgot it. If you check the earlier threads you can see how un neat it is haha. Lowkey been too unorganized to even finish up the counter system >.>

 

That's what I thought for a while, then I saw that bak'al's boss was the eye demon…

 

you really don't need to do anything with spells at a low level though...
and mage doesn't get a damage spell until level 21

 

Yeah, but at least they can heal themselves.

 

First, Bak’al doesn’t work for the eye, he works for the beast that ripped the would be eye out of its head. Bak’al while powerful was once a human, and in many ways still is. His working for the Dernic Beast is in his eyes mutually beneficial, even though he knows that the beast is far stronger than he is. Darkness is not the same thing as corruption, since corruption is a mix of light and dark. I wish Wynn did a better job of explaining this to new people so this wouldn’t be so much of a problem.

 

Is there anywhere to read the lore of wynn? It's actually pretty cool and i feel like reading it would be beneficial to making this class more fleshed out and able to merge into the Wynn world

 

You could always just go to the Wynncraft Wiki and look at a bunch of things there.

 

Guess ill take a look around the wiki, would be really cool if there was a dedicated website for lore, time line and such with maybe animations to show it off O.o

 

That would actually be a cool idea and something that I'd be interested in doing! Unfortunately I don't have time or ability right now to do that. Maybe I should get some people to do it with me though!

The main reason I disagree with this suggestion is because it really stands out from the other classes. "assasin", "mage", "warrior", "shaman" "void bringer?" Also, seems a bit op because it has 7 spells. Also, how do you just become "born" as a void bringer? how does that work in lore?

 

The classes are pretty basic which is why i had this class idea, for something more advanced. It is supposed to be a high skill cap class so in a way it is high risk high reward because of the counter system which i havent explained yet. You are kind of limited in the spells you are able to use and you are able to adjust to the situation accordingly. The 4 base classes are the basics of it and it is only right to branch off of them gradually making classes more advanced. with the knowledge we have now wouldn't it be cool to have more advanced classes that are more distinct than the basic 4, excluding shaman because it is more unique which is what is good about it. In terms of lore i havent though much about it since wynncraft lore is fairly deep and detailed, then again i could change the lore at any time since it is a WIP class suggestion. So any cool stories / lore anyone can add to this, feel free to dm me or post in the thread. I check fairly frequently

depravity/enlightenment for level 1 spell
great sword, battle staff or maybe all the other classes weapons?

 

This is a great idea! and I think I would really like playing with this class since its a mix of Dark and Light.
Though I wonder, what weapons would this class use? Daggers? Wands? or something close to that but yet different? like Swords and staffs? or do you have to choose one of the two at the start of your adventure?

Either way, I would like to see some equipment based around the element of Darkness or Light.
